A Q6600 should be able to push ~60FPS in most games, even new ones - but you can always push the video settings a little higher, and therefore you'll most likely be bottlenecked by your GPU no matter the game. At least where it matters.

500GB SSDs tend to be pretty expensive. HDDs are still the way to go for mass storage (but hopefully not for too long). Though a boot drive is always an option.

I've got the 240gb model and it works fantastic. Random read/write rates aren't on par with the Samsungs, but my sequential rates are above the average for the 250 EVO's

I don't think the Dell psu would be good for a 750 Ti, and I don't have a lot of money to put out for both a 750 Ti and a psu.

I have a 300W PSU in my HTPC and ran a 3570k and 650Ti off it just fine, I don't think you'd have any problems with the 750Ti in there.
But this is Dell, aren't their PSUs generally IEDs?

430W is enough for most stuff, it'd definitely run a 550 Ti.

easier to just get a new hard drive and install windows on that one, and then plug in your old hard drive and use as storage
I know I've swapped a Windows 8 drive from an Intel machine to an AMD machine and it booted up fine.

Worst case scenario is you'll have to reinstall your OS and use the MS phone hotline. Hell, depending on your key and its history you might be able to use the automatic Internet service.
I can practically guarantee you won't need a new key for Windows.

I can vouch, I have a Windows key that has been used on 3 different PCs.
i have a different case on for my current computer, that doesn't have a code on it (actually it does but it's for fucking vista. it's just a really nice case i picked up for free), the only other key laying around here is my crappy laptop which i've already had to use twice before on the same fucking laptop.
