and won't there be a bottleneck due to the Q6600?
A Q6600 should be able to push ~60FPS in most games, even new ones - but you can always push the video settings a little higher, and therefore you'll most likely be bottlenecked by your GPU no matter the game. At least where it matters. [editline]23rd March 2014[/editline]
perhaps its time you ascended to the SSD masterrace.
500GB SSDs tend to be pretty expensive. HDDs are still the way to go for mass storage (but hopefully not for too long). Though a boot drive is always an option.

Random read/write rates aren't on par with the Samsungs, but my sequential rates are above the average for the 250 EVO's

Would a Corsair CX430 be good enough for a GTX 550 Ti? I can get both for $90 together and they're practically new. [editline]23rd March 2014[/editline] I don't think the Dell psu would be good for a 750 Ti, and I don't have a lot of money to put out for both a 750 Ti and a psu.

But this is Dell, aren't their PSUs generally IEDs?

Okay, I thought so but wasn't 100% sure. Trying to spend my money wisely on this and not risk blowing up the house.
The PHP guys managed to make something that used to make sense, not make sense - 1 Jan 0000 is a Saturday, according to newer versions of PHP, whilst the earlier versions correctly error out. http://3v4l.org/NaJZO#v526 The day before that, is also a Saturday - 31 Dec -0001 is a Saturday. http://3v4l.org/9HTlo At this point, I'm just trying to figure out why the fuck a Saturday? I could understand Sunday, or Monday, since that's when a week ends or starts, but Saturday?
Just found this stock image...
Probably still waiting for it to boot to XP.

Well, the one time I actually bother to go onto /g/ and I catch them sending straw-feminist stuff to LKML. I have no idea who to feel sorry for.
https://github.com/Feminist-Software-Foundation/C-plus-Equality My fucking sides.
The language is to be strictly interpreted using feminist theory. Compilation privileges a single processor architecture over all others, which is deeply problematic. We cannot FORCE a cpu to conform to any architecture but rather let it self identify. Just because you're running something on an arduino doesn't mean it can't be an otherkin Xeon with a dozen 64-bit registers and PAE and it would be discriminatory for you to hand it ARM assembly. Instead, C+= is interpreted, which fosters communication, itself a strong female trait.
https://raw.githubusercontent.com/Feminist-Software-Foundation/C-plus-Equality/mistress/examples/PrivilegeCheck.Xir
var int privilege "Yes"; // this may look wrong, but the int is allowed to FEEL like a String. // Don't be such a bigot.
I just bought all the parts to replace my meh computer with a less meh computer and realized, after i bought it all, that i forgot a cooler for the cpu :suicide: fucks sake, get it together, me. first time building a computer and i fuck it up before it even gets here.

I know I've swapped a Windows 8 drive from an Intel machine to an AMD machine and it booted up fine.
http://80.71.129.99/test.mp4 please work
It works but it's horrible in Australia. Please don't start using your own home connection as an image/video host. Leave it to the guys who actually have proper resources, geographic redundancy and decent worldwide performance. You're dealing with the internet here, you have the whole world as range, giving good performance to a certain area, and shit performance to the rest of the world is not a good idea.
hmm. I can't afford a new OS right now so at the worst i'll put linux on it :v: if it doesn't work that is. and yeah, im going from an intel cpu to an amd cpu [sp]amd masterrace[/sp]
another question. can i just pop in my old hdd with all my stuff and OS or will i need a new one?
Worst case scenario is you'll have to reinstall your OS and use the MS phone hotline. Hell, depending on your key and its history you might be able to use the automatic Internet service. I can practically guarantee you won't need a new key for Windows.

i have a different case on for my current computer, that doesn't have a code on it (actually it does but it's for fucking vista. it's just a really nice case i picked up for free), the only other key laying around here is my crappy laptop which i've already had to use twice before on the same fucking laptop. fuck that laptop. [editline]24th March 2014[/editline] is there a way to see the key on the computer, because the key has been rubbed off on the bottom of the case.
