Roommate's machine doesn't get along with the router. If his computer goes to sleep, then he cannot under any circumstances connect to the router without restarting the machine. BOuncing his net adapter does nothing, bouncing the router itself does nothing.

I'd store all of the ISOs I have. Better than burning everything onto a DVD then finding out it's corrupted or invalid or unable to boot.
Very useful for builds or troubleshooting (I'd not use it for virus scanning tho).

Mini ITX rigs, I only have one PCIE 16x slot.
Messaged Virgin Medias live chat and they wanted to do a LogMeIn to test some stuff and change some router settings. The guy did some trace routes, some ping tests and speed tests. Changed one setting and said it was done, give it a week and if it doesn't change much they'll try something else. I already tried the exact same thing he did a few weeks back and it did nothing to the connection.

Making more physical space for the bulk of the card is one thing, but squeezing more than one PCI-E slot onto a tiny motherboard isn't practical.
