Anyway, developing a Storage management system, which you can control with an android client is a frustrating task.
There's so much stuff involved it's frustrating. :/
In a month I'm going to start Android programming in my computer science class I'm totally on top of right now... Great...
recommendations to start learning C or C++?
books or a site or something?
Is it normal for people to remove you from their friend list only because they had a bad game of comp CS GO?
Also don't really see the skill in CS GO, you aim and even counter spread and fire in burst but you still shoot with cotton balls.
Then he calls me out about Battlefield and that it requires less skill than cs go.
But him removing me from his friend list made me laugh good riddance.

Be sure to get the gold plated ones or else it'll leak pixels.
Also I found the dual-core capable system board for my server for $20, free shipping.
Also found a pair of dual core xeons for that board for $20 as well.
I think I'll wait to see how the new ram behaves before I drop another $40, but that upgrade is gonna happen.

I hate people who remove me for not talking to them enough
Like holy fuck, if you want me to talk to you, removing me is the exact opposite of fixing it, just start a conversation and I'll talk for ages :v:
How many PCs do you guys have?
Not sure where else I could post this, so, anyone want a 90% off voucher for Serious Sam 2 on Steam? My name is the same as on here if anyone wants it.
How many PCs do you guys have?
Four, Gaming desktop I'm on now, Dell laptop that I occasionally use for dicking about with different OSes, and two old computers with more than a few parts missing

Was talking about this in the FP chat, that's often a joke often posted on that deals site on cheap HDMI cable deals.
Anyway on that subject, does anyone else think that Displayport is doomed because of the cheapness of HDMI? Looking on Ebay earlier and the price of a HDMI cable for a 2M version is around £2 delivered whereas a Displayport cable is near enough £7 for the same length.
Five.
Yeah, what sort of PCs?

what would be the best way to compress files listed in a text file to bz2 with folder structure unchanged?
- Gaming PC (Can't be fucked to cite specs)
- Macbook pro 13" Mid 2010
- HP Elitebook 8540w
- HP Elitebook 2530p

It's not the price that's stopping people from using it, it's the fact that barely anything uses it. And there's no point changing standards until HDMI starts to get outdated
How many PCs do you guys have?
okay let's see...
Custom desktop PC
Asus UX32VD Ultrabook
Acer Aspire one D255 (Using it as a server)
Bondi blue iMac
Powermac G5
Powermac G4 Cube
And a bunch of miscellaneous laptops and towers.
And it's probably cheaper because of the demand for it
Practically everything these days has a HDMI port, but Displayport is only really used on high end monitors
[editline]28th March 2014[/editline]
Fucking warship, and editing that post is a bitch because vbulletin breaks it
heh heh

This is what I'm thinking, with HDMI you've got more of a chance you can repurpose it for something else. That combined with the cheapness of it is undermining displayport.

MSI GT640

Try developing for Windows phone 8. You can release the app to both windows 8 and the wp8 store.
Er, no? As of Win Phone 8 you can't, 8.1's new app system is a lot better in being able to port easily between, so much so you can write for both using conditionals in the same VS project, but that's still limited and most importantly, not out for a while.

Desktop machine, self-built (Phenom II X2 555BE, core-unlock to quad, 6GB DDR3, HD5770)
HP 625 - my old laptop
Lenovo ThinkPad Edge E325 - current laptop, AMD E450 APU (1.65GHz dual-core, 2x512KB L2 cache, no L3), the APU contains an HD6320, with 80 shader cores. Max operating temp 90C, 18W TDP.
RAM upgraded from 4GB to 8GB, 320GB 7200RPM HDD switched to 120GB Samsung EVO 840, running Debian with Linux 3.14-rc8 that I've stripped down a lot in size, to maximize boot speed and performance.
