I've submitted a ticket, but I don't have a phone. [editline]27th March 2014[/editline] But I read posts in the forums of people submitting tickets and not getting a response for WEEKS
I'm switching to Chromium, Firefox is just too damn slow in a lot of cases. Running it on my laptop right now, I'll move my desktop over at some point. It's ridiculous how much faster Chromium is.
Firefox was starting slow down and freeze up on me, then I cleared it's cache. Seems to be working again. [editline]27th March 2014[/editline] FP is still slow as molasses though
I have massive problems with posting replies etc., but page loads on Facepunch are slow as fuck sometimes too. I think it's CloudFlare, they were attacked 2 days ago and there's currently some network problems so they're rerouting traffic that's supposed to go to San Jose, CA, maybe they have other problems they haven't announced.
Guess who's buying a new monitor? http://www.kitguru.net/peripherals/monitors/faith/samsung-unloads-60hz-4k-tv-through-ocuk-at-499/

That PPI will be great.

[editline]27th March 2014[/editline] FP is still slow as molasses though
Every so often I get a memory leak on Firefox that uses nearly 4 GB of RAM. Then Facepunch start having epileptic seizures. Its crazy. I normally have Chrome and Firefox running at the same time though, so there's that.
Chromium is stripping newlines from my posts, it refuses to load the advanced text editor in the quick reply box, and the quick-reply to post in-line is broken. What the fuck?
How many PCs do you guys have?
Just desktops? Something around thirty. Edited: Oh, you mean PC's exclusively? Something like 18.

I could be wrong, but I heard if newer monitors have a TN panel its not a compromise on quality anymore.
Just desktops? Something around thirty. Edited: Oh, you mean PC's exclusively? Something like 18.
And I thought I had a lot.
I have this: It's a Compaq P910, a real flat 19" CRT monitor, 1920x1440 @70 Hz is the max, but I use 1280x1024 @85 Hz because it's better for my eyes.
so I opened up the CX430 power supply in my HTPC because it was ticking along and out came a Yate Loon fan wat I mean it stopped ticking when I oiled it but why would anyone put a high-quality sleeve bearing fan in an orientation where it's going to crap out in a couple of months
I've got the crappy desktop PC, the gov't netbook, and a Drean Commodore 64-C that I can't do anything with because no datasette/diskette drive/SD adaptor
Me personally, One desktop, a laptop I use for backups... and a few desktops that are just not used on my shelf. Mostly GX280's I rescued from work.
I'm on what is known as a S-PVA screen, for a CRT lover the black levels do impress me from time to time and the colour is pretty decent too. Its a nice step in the right direction for a flat panel display.
I used to have a CRT monitor, it would shock you if you were touching the glass when you turned it on.
I used to have a CRT monitor, it would shock you if you were touching the glass when you turned it on.
I did that to every CRT I had way back
I have two CRTs i'm trying to sell so I can save towards a good, small CRT TV for my consoles (got my eye on a 20" Sony PVM). Damn I wish computer monitors had component/s-video inputs.
As I've said before I do keep a CRT around for DVDs, wouldn't mind that widescreen Sony 1080p CRT monitor either.
It's been a while since I played Starbound. My character got wiped. :(
desktop laptop I need more/better computers, all the stuff I have is old and/or broken in some way
Well the Mi Charger costs $11 USD (in China) and about $30USD to export it. Apparently it's hard to find in China but at the same time I'd say it's worth the exporters markup since nothing of this capacity is that low priced. Limited reviews (like 1 or 2) says it's good despite being out for over 3 months. I was expecting more reviews by now. So yeah, I'm interested in that one specifically but what's the one you have?
I have the Newtrent IMP120D. I can't remember how much I paid for it, but I've been using it for over a year now and it's saved me more times than I care to mention. I actually like it so much I bought one for my dad too, although he doesn't use his much.
Guess who's buying a new monitor? Any of you gotten business cards printed before online? I'm considering getting some. Maybe half for Youtube stuff, half for video production/photography.
It'd be nice if I could get a 1600p monitor and then use that with my two 1680x1050 monitors in a PLP setup but I don't have the money for one
There's a new release of Popcorn Time out on GitHub. I'm seriously amazed that MPAA hasn't sent enough DMCA claims to GitHub to bury them.
