Any of you gotten business cards printed before online?
I'm considering getting some. Maybe half for Youtube stuff, half for video production/photography.
I have 2 for my 2 businesses, also in the field of media production in fact. Got them done by VistaPrint
I put a QR code on the back face that links to a vCard that they can save into their phone, physical cards can be lost but a number they stored in their phone one day not so much.
So apparently the "dead/broken" Apple Cinema Display is fine. The shop I took it to has been doing all of the tests Apple told them to do and it's 100% functional. So I wonder why a few months ago it just suddenly stopped getting power.
I guess I'm gonna have to go pick it up tomorrow after they run a few extra test.
I'm worried about using a QR code unless I made it look really interesting somehow.
I'm planning on rebranding my channels with new intros and outros and a new banner, and then using that in my business cards.
I remember having this huge CRT monitor back my old room, and a hot water radiator, which i always used to have my hand on, because i used to lean back alot in my chair, and put my feet up etc.
Protip - Never put your hands on a fucking metal radiator whilst cleaning a spec of spit or dust off your CRT monitor!
aaaaaaaand my origin account has been hijacked
lovely
Thats really low why would you hijack a origin account , steam is much more worth.
aaaaaaaand my origin account has been hijacked
lovely
I had that happen to me a year ago. Gota an email saying my username was changed to something Russian! Called up EA support and thankfully they gave me the account back without too much trouble. Asshole added all his friends that I removed immediately but still had random Russians adding me for about a month. Has not happened since but that may be more due to me bothering to use a non-shit password.

I had my steam account hijacked once and I knew the guy who did it.
Luckily he was extremely stupid when he tried to sell it.
[editline]27th March 2014[/editline]
And by that I mean he tried to sell to a classmate.
2-step email verification for everything (steam, origin, etc) + 2-step texting verification for gmail = You need access to my phone to get into any of my accounts
Since when did Origin have 2-step verification?
Since when did Origin have 2-step verification?
You can enable it
Those MSI machines are out now, with the added surprise of an 870M option as well as Maxwell 860M:

Gonna buy a dell U2713 for around $600
Can I get something better with that money?
Does anyone remember the name of that "evolution simulator" where a bunch of "cars" initially starts out with completely retarded designs, but due to random "mutations" and an algorithm which keeps track of how long of a distance they manage to travel without completely failing, and keeping the designs that work the best for future generations, they eventually become really efficient?

In my opinion, those machines would've looked great had it not been for that logotype on the cover.
I have two CRTs i'm trying to sell so I can save towards a good, small CRT TV for my consoles (got my eye on a 20" Sony PVM). Damn I wish computer monitors had component/s-video inputs.
I'd love to get one of those old professional Sony Trinitron CRTs used for stuff like broadcasting.
Supposedly they're really nice.

Use to have one of those. Color went wonky after 5 years.

Don't those things have heat issues from being so thin, or were those remedied like the Blade's were?
"Battery Life: 4hrs"

Battery is a bit disappointing but if you look at any Clevo in that segment with an 870m it'll get 2.5 hours at max and be three times as thick.
Don't those things have heat issues from being so thin, or were those remedied like the Blade's were?
They don't really have heat issues, they just get loud under load, which doesn't bother me for one.
when the hell did they add this?
I feel like I've had it enabled for a long time but I couldn't give you an exact time frame

Sony PVM's are the best video monitors you can get. Mine can input video over Firewire if I had the expansion board. They're like the only CRT monitors that kept their value.
I have this:

It's a Compaq P910, a real flat 19" CRT monitor, 1920x1440 @70 Hz is the max, but I use 1280x1024 @85 Hz because it's better for my eyes.
Before it died in Feb 2011, I used to run my Sony G420 CRT at 2048x1536@60hz, the detail was amazing.
Sony PVM's are the best video monitors you can get. Mine can input video over Firewire if I had the expansion board. The PVMs are the professional series, BVMs are the broadcast series and they much pricer but produce a really nice image. You're really lucky if you can get one with SDI boards in it, you can get an HDMI to SDI box and get really clean digital Images on it.
This is what I'd describe as the dog's bollocks:

The NUC returned today, it detects 2.5 drives, but it has issue booting to OS that isn't UEFI supported, so I have to find a version of Linux that supports it.
