So I'm back on the MSI, and the resolution of 1680x1050 made me dizzy for a second. Wish MSI still had batteries, and at the moment it's slow as I had it in storage for a while... And Windows doesn't want to update what the fuck [editline]2nd April 2014[/editline] Oh and it gets hot for no reason. Might sell this one to be honest, now. It's way too hot, way too slow and way too outdated. Might be able to get £300 for it.

Deleted my Linux Partition and forgot to restore the Windows MBR, whoops. Its not that hard to restore if I'm honest though.
I wish I could work for google. They seem like a very fun place to work Too bad I'm stuck in the 90's.
I remember reading an article some months back about how it really is when working for Google.
Should I consider myself a current generation technophobe? I kinda hate how now nearly every laptop sold is sealed and rather difficult to self-service and repair some stuff in a laptop, it just disappoints me, and it's one hell of a repellant when it comes to finding a new machine.
Nice
It's nice to know that they got the hint that they can't just copy and paste the tablet / phone optimised UI onto a PC which often has a 24" monitor or larger. [editline]2nd April 2014[/editline] The Start screen is okay I guess, but the "Modern UI" Apps are just painful to use on a huge screen.
My ability to read is getting worse, does this feature in the future update or upgrade/Windows 9?
does this feature in the future update or upgrade/Windows 9?
The feature does in windows 9
but those playdoh fisher price buttons are still there :suicide:
The feature does in windows 9
I knew they'd do this. I wanted it in Windows 8.1 exactly how they did it, why couldn't they?
ACD is finally fixed this time. this thing takes up almost 2/3rds of my desk
I knew they'd do this. I wanted it in Windows 8.1 exactly how they did it, why couldn't they?
To make people buy win9 lol
I basically grew tired of Chrome seeing as I've used it for the past two years, and instead I installed Pale Moon. It's pretty nice IMO.
but those playdoh fisher price buttons are still there :suicide:
Wasn't "fisher price" the description people gave to winxp's default theme
Wasn't "fisher price" the description people gave to winxp's default theme
apparently anything without a dull color scheme is a fisher price toy
apparently anything without a dull color scheme is a fisher price toy
I would say it had more to do with the impression that XP's default theme looked like cheap plastic :v: And not just due to the colours
To make people buy win9 lol
Well I'll be anally fisted by a barge.
I knew they'd do this. I wanted it in Windows 8.1 exactly how they did it, why couldn't they?
Its not Its in the windows 8.1 update 1.
Its not Its in the windows 8.1 update 1.
I'm really tired, I'm getting really confused.
I would say it had more to do with the impression that XP's default theme looked like cheap plastic :v: And not just due to the colours
but Windows 8 doesn't, it's just colorful squares
Its not Its in the windows 8.1 update 1.
IDK it would make sense, but some places are reporting it's arriving in windows 9. maybe they just spread false info.
