How do people use that much storage? I understand that if you're making videos it would take up that much space but anything else shouldn't take up too much space.
Some people like me handle a lot of photos and video footage.

I just don't delete anything i can't easily get in case i might need it later, also steam games and PS2 backups. This is the new i5 PC, my old desktop has around 1TB of stuff and my main laptop has a 2/3rds full 640GB HDD.
I confess, video.
A 6TB drive?
I confess, video.
you handle so much more video than i do
I reformat my PC every few months. I also run CCleaner like every week, so I keep my PC as clean as possible. Also, Software in VM's. So if I don't need it anymore, I can just delete the VM.
listing: http://www.ebay.com/itm/380703257572?var=650130020293 i currently use a s5830 instead, we have 4 more digitizers for it and currently it is rocking like a 5th panel or something like that. a few came broken, complained, got a few new ones more. :v:
Sounds to me like you bought the cheapest thing you could find, it's not even OEM
A 6TB drive?
4x3TB in RAID10.

CCleaner is like THE best cleaner program.
CCleaner is like THE best cleaner program.
It's also in beta for android

And with this you support the cleanup of uneeded file from more than 1000 other programs. http://singularlabs.com/software/ccenhancer/ For me, CCleaner is a must have. What about the registy keys how do you know that it removes the ones that are not needed? Could it potentially remove a wrong registry key?
In the process of resetting my uncle's T500 BIOS password. Someone made an Arduino sketch that will hopefully read and clear the password. [t]http://i.imgur.com/s9ztV53.jpg[/t] [t]http://i.imgur.com/emoWmWu.jpg[/t]
aren't you able to reset the BIOS password simply by taking the CMOS battery out for 5~ minutes or using the CMOS jumper though? or is there something I'm forgetting?
I think it's pretty much standard in laptops now, that passwords are saved to a chip.
I'm going to be streaming Papers, Please tonight. Don't know if that'd interest people. We're up to 7 people regularly watching my streams. And 94 followers.
How do people use that much storage? I understand that if you're making videos it would take up that much space but anything else shouldn't take up too much space.
meanwhile I'm planning on a 50-60TB home server
What about the registy keys how do you know that it removes the ones that are not needed? Could it potentially remove a wrong registry key?
Well, it shows the reg keys it's deleting, why its deleting them and it gives you the option to back up your registry.
1TB has been enough for me for a good while really. currently have about 700GB~ for use in Windows (SSD and HDD combined) and still have plenty of space. rest goes to my linux stuff that said, I don't do much stuff that requires too much space either other than games
I think it's pretty much standard in laptops now, that passwords are saved to a chip.
It's flash or (other) EEPROM nowadays, apparently
If I could, I'd never delete anything and have back ups of everything locally and on cloud storage for redundancy.
The key to maintaining a clean machine is to initially make a clean and fully updated install with all your base applications all setup and configured. Then take a ghost application like Deepfreeze to take a snapshot and every six months you backup whatever you want to keep, roll back on the image and dump the shit you kept back into the system. Total clutter management.
HAHA! It worked! Thank you random forum post: http://forum.arduino.cc/index.php?topic=160222.0 [t]http://i.imgur.com/SaELwVm.jpg[/t]
I'm surprised they don't hash the password
I'm not. After all, many BIOS's only accept passwords up to 8 characters.
amazon please tell me this is a late april fools joke
I'm surprised they don't hash the password
I didn't try reading back the password since I was using my 5v arduino into what is supposed to be a 3.3V chip since the step-down converter I made didn't seem to work. I didn't want to have it connected longer than it needed to be. The Arduino code spat out this before it cleared the password Original Data: 39 03 B3 2B 27 F7 D7 B9 39 03 B3 2B 27 F7 D7 B9 If anyone can decode it into something that looks like a password, I'd be curious to know what it is since there was a note stuck to it with what the password was supposed to be.
