[QUOTE=benjgvps;44456254]I didn't try reading back the password since I was using my 5v arduino into what is supposed to be a 3.3V chip since the step-down converter I made didn't seem to work. I didn't want to have it connected longer than it needed to be.
The Arduino code spat out this before it cleared the password
Original Data: 39 03 B3 2B 27 F7 D7 B9 39 03 B3 2B 27 F7 D7 B9
If anyone can decode it into something that looks like a password, I'd be curious to know what it is since there was a note stuck to it with what the password was supposed to be.[/QUOTE]
It might be encrypted in some way, as it doesn't look like normal ASCII. But as to how, I wouldn't know.
looks like hex to me, which spits out this if converted
9³+'÷×¹9³+'÷×¹
hard to tell where to go from there imo

Got my Tax refund. $488.
So incredibly tempting...
[editline]5th April 2014[/editline]
I'm having a nightmare time sorting my stream stuff. A week ago I could stream torchlight 720p60 just fine.
Now I can't do like 30 without it being superfucking laggy. I got no idea why it's doing this.

[QUOTE=elevate;44457550]Welcome to the 21st century![/QUOTE]Now you've got me thinking about that Y2K episode of Dilbert.
[QUOTE=Skanic;44454691]What about the registy keys how do you know that it removes the ones that are not needed?
Could it potentially remove a wrong registry key?[/QUOTE]
It deletes keys that point to nothing or invalid references.
[QUOTE=~Kiwi~v2;44457582]Gimme settings I can't help you if you no present settings yo.
Also I know that vsync and shadows in Torchlight used to be the biggest bitch.
[t]http://puu.sh/7Wwu0/dcdbf1a6dc.png[/t]
You should be using Game Capture anyway.
[editline]5th April 2014[/editline]
Congrats welcome to mid ranged.[/QUOTE]
I'm on gamecapture. Vsync is permanently disabled systemwide. Also I get like 500fps in torchlight. It's regardless of the game.
It's the recording. Not even streaming at this point. The network isn't in the picture. I'm on Ultrafast, and my CPU is at about 20% usage maybe and that is with GRID running. I don't think it's a performance problem in the normal sense, just some sort of problem with OBS not capturing the frames right.
I'm at 2mbps, I tried 5mbps just because I didn't think it mattered.
Also I think I mentioned this before but I was streaming 2.5mpbs 720p at 60fps last week with zero problems at all, and on the fast preset too. But that same setup is like 12-15fps.
[editline]5th April 2014[/editline]
I uploaded a test recording to show you what I mean: [url]https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/13641475/LiveStream%20%2801%29.mp4[/url]
You can skip through it to whereever, but it can get pretty bad. I do run SLI, but I tried it on and off and I saw no difference, and I've always had SLI on before historically.
God bless automatic system restore points.
Just putting that out there after my PC refused to boot this morning for some reason.
Guys.

I fucked up.
[editline]5th April 2014[/editline]
Oh, it updated apt-get and removed -[Command] with just [Command].
Now that's silly.
wait, pentium getting modern computing equipment?
is this a late april fools joke?
According to this a computer in 1971 could recognise images and solve a puzzle with a robot arm:

I didn't even know -update and so forth were ever considered valid
I've never used apt-get -command, neither on my VPS or back when I used Ubuntu and Mint
New hard drive, new chance to fill it with crap. Time to rip a load of Blu-Rays.
I just put my main PC back into my HAF-X (thnk u brt I still love you for the case) and it's somehow much quieter than the BitFenix Ghost which is suppose to be a "silent" case.
So I visited a huge thift shop kinda place today, they had everything under the sun. It was overwhelmind almost, too many interesting things. They had a bunch of white iMacs, I might buy one if they have any intel ones for a good price. They also had a bunch of stuff I don't even know how they could ever possibly sell. I spotted a Mac Pro ram board on a shelf. I don't think anyone would ever come there to buy that. They also have a lot of stereo equipment, you can never have too much of that.
[editline]5th April 2014[/editline]
Basically, it was like going to the electronics dump, times a thousand.
[editline]5th April 2014[/editline]
My brain is still recovering from the overload.
If any had an isight camera they're Intel based iMacs.
iirc only the Intel based ones had cameras
That's what I thought as well when I was there, but when I came home to research it I found that in october 2005 they released G5 iMacs with iSight cameras.
