Should I pick up another 6950 for $100 and CF or sell mine for around that and buy a newer single GPU?
How much are you wanting to sell your broken iphone for?
Whatever gamestop/whatever is buying them for.
If its just the screen thats broke, fix it before selling it?
My exact plan. I also have to get a backing for it though.

just CL it or something
gamestop will just give you 10 dollar store credit that you can use towards used ds games
gazelle wasn't bad
not having to deal with selling it to a person directly is nice

You device falls under the broken condition. They will literally give you $10 for it.
I want to VPN into my home network and managed to get Routing and Remote Access working locally on my Windows Server 2012R2 box, but from what I'm reading MS-CHAP v2 authentication isn't great. So before I open it to the internet: Is it super dangerous to use this on my home connection and should I just use something else? If so, what works well on preferably Windows Server or Linux (I have a small Ubuntu Server VM in Hyper-V)?
You device falls under the broken condition. They will literally give you $10 for it.
$10 of store credit. You only get $7.80 if you want real money. And that's if they don't just recycle the damn thing.
You would get a lot more selling it on CL/eBay.

which is why i would repair it first.
I still use my Samsung Skyrocket Galaxy 2 and it's now updated to Kit-Kat.

What ROM are you using and do you have a working wi-fi connection?
hmm. i want to wait for the G3, i really do, but i don't see how it would be much of a physicla improvement (camera, design, performance, screen) over the G2 or the S5. I doubt that there are going to be any other big phones out that will pull my interest, and I really just need a new phone right now.
I know other people are in worse situations, but I've had to restore my iphone so many times this year to get it to function properally. It takes about 15 seconds for the calculator app to load, scrolling in any app is sooo unbearable. The vibrate function also likes to stop working at times.

They don't even want to upgrade to Win7.
so you want a phone on contract because...
Most likely because he can't afford an off contract phone or wants to get something better since contract phones are more worth it.

if the carrier has it, he could get the nexus 5 on contract. unfortunetly carriers like to over price it and usually only feature the black 16gb model.

Getting a cheap phone like Nexus 5 or Moto X on contract is honestly the worst idea ever, since they purposely overprice the value of the phone and the end amount of discount they give is much smaller compared to expensive phones like the S5 and iPhones.
I kind of have been ignoring the GH4k, but just saw some specs today. 4096x2160 @ 24fps @ 200mbps, 1080p @ 60fps/96fps. And with an optional expasion base you can get 10bit 4k@ 24fps 4:2:2 via SDI and it has built in XLR. I'm just completely floored by the value on that camera. I want to sell all my gear to buy one.
Go get it.
decided to play "Year walk", and about 1~ hour of playing I think I'm done for now.
literally kicked myself away from my PC and covered my face with my hands, never gotten a reaction like that from a horror game before
Aw dang they had an Sony hmd on display here, but nothing was running on it

I think recording video on a GH4 is a whole different level than to what it is on your 60D (Which is very similar to my 600D when doing video). To be honest, recording video on my 600D has always felt like a hacked-together experience. Sure it works, but the sound is horrible, there's a 4GB limit, there's a small chance it might just feel like stopping your recording due to a filled up buffer which makes it unreliable (No matter how fast your card is), and you can't do 1080p60 which all "real" video cameras have been doing forever. Even using a small video camera like my Sony CX280 feels much better and polished in a way that I think the GH4 also will.
Touchwiz is laggy, ugly, and bloated as fuck
The screen is shitty in terms of sharpness because of their retarded PenTile display, and oversaturated colours (although some people like this for some reason)
The entire body itself is made from plastic weaker than sandwich wraps and all areas of the phone are easily scratched and damaged
Exynos CPU = forget about all original custom ROMs like cyanogenmod
etc etc etc
Oh and samsung's phone designers have no talent.
TouchWiz has been scaled down iirc with the S5 - even Anandtech now says it's not really a big detractor.
The screen is "shitty"? AnandTech's tests show that it's as accurate as most IPS displays you'll find on other comparable smartphones, and while it's pentile, it's still 1080p. By this metric the iPhone 5S is "shitty in terms off sharpness". You also get basically "infinite" contrast, which I really don't think is a shitty thing.
I'll give you the plastic thing, but the S5 is supposedly a good deal more rugged - and it has IP67 certification.
Most S5 versions will use a Snapdragon 801 - haven't seen a review of an Exynos S5 yet. Don't know much about ROMs anyway, so I don't have much against that.
And yeah, the phone itself looks like a turd.
On the flipside, the camera is great - the video quality in particular is amazing. This is a department where the HTC One M8 falls decidedly short; where the S5 looks like shit, the M8's camera makes stuff look like shit. Other than that, the performance of the phones are basically equal.
So yeah - get the M8 if you'd rather have a great design (though that fucking HTC logo on the front is just plain dumb) than a great camera. I think the S5, if boring, is the more balanced phone - but yeah, it's pretty ugly.
I kinda wanna buy some electronics but I'll never use thrn
What a curse
This is gonna be a loooong april.
Tomorrow presentation and demonstration of my finals.
Yesterday I've been in talks with a company that will aid us in migrating from MS Exchange 2003 to Office 365 (Mail only), which will be started next week.
Ubuntu 14.04 comes out next Week, so I'm gonna have to replace 10 Ubuntu Server 8.04 instances with Ubuntu Server 14.04.
And in 3 Weeks we're gonna start planning the migration of the rest of our Server 2003's and ADDC Servers to Windows Server 2012 R2.
Also, gonna set up some new Server instances including a WSUS Server and a Dedicated Nagios Server.
I guess I should fill up my liquor cabinet.
[editline]10th April 2014[/editline]
Oh and yesterday I fixed the Heartbleed shit on all instances that use OpenSSL, and Issued new certs.
Cert revoking was a fucking bitch.

It solves all the issues I had with the GH3, it does 4:2:2 out of the HDMI, has much better antialiasing, even less rolling shutter, Zebra bars and Timecode and it has 4K which could be great for doing the CSI zoom effect.
It's ahead of anything Canon has in the price range but Sony just announced a competitor:

You can use it with the new Atomos Shogun recorder and get RAW 4K:
