They blocked Dropbox and Imgur? What the hell is the use of that? I can understand Imgur because of the risk of porn images and my little pony, but seriously? Dropbox can also be used by teachers here.

My school blocked loading .exes, but then they gave me a networked sandbox for me to run all of my coding projects in :v:
They also have Steam install on some of them for the game dev courses, a few of us just log in on that and play CS:S in the lesson.

Ours blocks Facebook after 9am, but they dont block YouTube, Soundcloud, Grooveshark, Twitter, Reddit, Imgur, among other things.

...unless they were placed in C:\Program Files\Adobe\Adobe Photoshop <whatever version>\Presets. Then they'd work fine!

I wasn't fanboying, i forgot to put :v: there. Also i have used Android since 1.5. I agree that Android sucks on low to mid end spec phones. It was more of a joke. Much like people who go HUR HUR Windows 8 sucks.
The Asus Vivotab 8 looks awesome. Affordable, quad core atom CPU, AND wacom pen input.

Eh, we don't get access to the C: drive, although when we did work with VMs we had to switch to different machines on a KVM.
The entire course shared the same user account, filled space and deleted work everywhere.

My Galaxy nexus was smooth on 4.0 and 4.1 and became unsmooth 4.3 and 4.4.
Where i would have battery drain because the google play service would be running in the background doing a power surge or whatever that drained my battery to 19% in about half a day or less.
I looked at the S4 and Z1 and didnt feel that they were any smoother so i tryed out wp8 on a Lumia 925 and was suprised how smooth and fast the OS is.

Friend of mine has a lowest-of-the-low Samsung Pocket running 4.0.4 and I'm not noticing much lag besides 3D apps (the ones that actually run on it, at that). The screen is such garbage though. 320x240 or some shit.

I really like python as a programming language. It has some great potential. I write scripts with it to manage some servers.
I think I should convert my scripts to Python 3.x one day.

I got 3 1080p Monitors, and I never really noticed any performance drops to warrant removing the other 2 displays while gaming.

The SGS2 is pretty smooth animation wise, but it's simply not as responsive (when scrolling and such) as my single-core HTC Radar. Same with most new Android phones - they're much, [I]much[/I] faster rendering webpages, opening applications, etc., but they're simply not as smooth as even 2010-era WP devices.
Not saying Android is shit at all, but there's simply something that feels a bit "off" once in a while.

I'm in the process of improving my soldering setup as well. I ordered a Hakko FX-888D soldering station to replace a Weller pen iron that has terrible, hard to find tips. I just need to get some decent thin solder (Really tricky to find locally) and a desoldering pump.

You can't really compare soldering braids to solder pumps. They're designed for completely different purposes.
