You can't really compare soldering braids to solder pumps. They're designed for completely different purposes.
Are they? iirc they both remove solder from something that's already soldered. The methods are pretty different, but the outcome is the same

Solder pumps are designed for through hole components. Wick is for SMD componments. Although you can try using it vice versa, it wouldn't work as well and you might damage the board.
I still got a fair bit of money, and now I'm thinking I should finally get those two side monitors I always wanted.

Edit: Because then I don't know how I'd arrange my speakers. Right now I got some small desk/camp stands for shelfs holding them up. Don't know if I'd have them waaaaay on each side or above the monitors.
Well, a colleague of my dad asked me to install Windows 7 on his XP machine

Now I realize how many times I've used this OS, I'm honestly gonna miss XP.
Rest in peace sweet prince, we had great times together...
But the thought that a driver rodeo is about to happen here doesn't really get me happy at all.
In my computer tech class we are starting programming with C and then using adruino. Let's see how I do learning Java and C...
Ok what the fuck. Our internet broke suddenly. All our devices can't access online webpages except this Windows XP machine? My phone can't access webpages, my computer, nothing.
Help, this is really weird.

Also, note that Steam, Spotify and all that DO work, we just can't access websites anymore. I can't pull this thing out of the network right now because I'm doing a file transfer.

Sounds like a DNS issue.
Ok somebody please help, this is driving me insane. What should I do? Run a virus scan on this thing to find out if something is interfering with our network or something?
Sounds like a DNS issue.
Could be, what was the correct DNS address? 4.4.4.4 or something like that?

If you are referring to Googles DNS, then it's 8.8.8.8 for primary and 8.8.4.4 for secondary.
8.8.8.8 and 8.8.4.4 are google's dns-s
Certain webpages work again, but I can't access FP from my main PC. Gonna apply the DNS setings now.
About that. Is it me or is Facepunch really slowly at processing posts? Like it takes about 15-20 seconds in order for me to post.
Goddamnit, tried to change DNS settings through my router, still nothing.
WHAT THE FUCK is this in all of the sudden?
[editline]11th April 2014[/editline]

Have you checked DNS settings for individual devices? Or tried to flush DNS?
Have you checked DNS settings for individual devices? Or tried to flush DNS?
I forgot how to flush the DNS, let me look it up now.

Ok flushed the DNS through CMD and it works again, posting from my Win7 machine now.

You might have to refresh the computer's DHCP lease, otherwise it'll just keep using the old information.
ipconfig /release
ipconfig /renew
Edit: A bit late to the party
Well it magically works on my phone again too, lets get this file transfer done ASAP

Took me DAYS to transfer the Dell stuff prior setting up the Fujitsu. 102 minutes is nothing to me.
Took around 600 minutes, just for 90.8GB of files to transfer onto an external USB drive.
I had to use XP today. Good riddance, you piece of shit.

Does it for me, Firefox.

A Hyper-V Server with a few guest Servers.
