I tried premiere but being used to vegas, it was very difficult to get stuff done. maybe I should sit down and learn the software
I might convert to premiere at some point, still rocking Vegas 10.
Whenever Vegas fucks up on me I just remember that I'm not using Final Cut, and then I'm happy again.
Can't use Premiere, as I said before in the other threads Adobe shat on my educational license with it's shitty pointless and a lame excuse of a crap DRM. Adobe isn't bothered to reset it, so it's gone forever. I'm using Vegas Pro 10, I might get 12. Vegas Pro 10 crashes only on a 6 month basis.
I'm using Vegas Pro 10, I might get 12. Vegas Pro 10 crashes only on a 6 month basis.
Don't upgrade, 12 is the piece of shit we're all complaining about :v: 10 was the last good version IMO
I'd like to dedicate this post to how shitty Vegas is Like your ability to just randomly shit out whenever I load a .gif Or how you can have any 120FPS projects but not actually render anything past 100 Or how keyframes are tied to time, and not frames, and clicking a keyframe that doesn't actually line up with a frame resets the timeline, losing my place And how you can completely destroy the quality of an image when scaling DOWN Also how you continuously remove features in later versions, even replacing the normal render window with a list of fucking presets, which you have to edit to change any settings
They made post stabilization confusing to select and almost impossible to use from Vegas Pro 10 to 11...
I finally listened to wav quality music. Jesus it was heaven. Now I need flac and some really really good headphones(don't think my g230s are cutting it)
Speaking of high quality music, my interest in CDs has skyrocketed lately. Listening to my CDs on a 1992 Sony CD player I found and fixed five years ago (jesus fuck, 2009 was 5 years ago?) [t]http://i.imgur.com/g9oqI7g.jpg[/t] Please send help before I blow all my money on CDs
I need to upload some scans of a '91 issue of CD Review I bought a couple days ago. It has a review of the hottest new HiFi thing: carousel CD players! And some ads for 24k gold plated discs and high performance cables.
Don't upgrade, 12 is the piece of shit we're all complaining about :v: 10 was the last good version IMO
If they didn't fuck up how to apply warp stabilization, 11 is good. The warp stabilization issue is litterally the ONLY thing I hate about 11. The only thing I hate about 12 is that it's 64-bit only. If I get 64-bit Windows I might as well start using Premiere Pro.
The only thing I hate about 12 is that it's 64-bit only.
I didn't even know this. Then again, if you're using a 32-bit computer, it's probably not going to run vegas very well anyway.
I didn't even know this. Then again, if you're using a 32-bit computer, it's probably not going to run vegas very well anyway.
Vegas Pro 11 runs alright but I have concluded that it's not great when I have a bunch of All-I HD footage where there is clearly not enough RAM (for the program since 32-bit limits it) to handle all of those videos and cuts and stuff. So I'd imagine Vegas Pro 11 will run much better when I get 64-bit so Vegas can use more RAM. I should also get more ram, 4GB isn't really much.
i really need to reformat my windows PC. i have so much shit from when i actually used windows for anything but gaming that it's insanely bloated my sound drivers are fucked, i can hear sound through my card but windows doesn't seem to think anything is playing in the sound panel :v:
Truecrypt's been partly audited. https://opencryptoaudit.org/reports/iSec_Final_Open_Crypto_Audit_Project_TrueCrypt_Security_Assessment.pdf Spoiler alert: broken, and you're dumb if you're not using LUKS/dm-crypt instead.

Thanks for making my day worse.
So when is this OpenSSL issue getting fixed?
The issue got fixed on most distros, but the greater problem is that OpenSSL's code is like hitlers poo.
The issue got fixed on most distros, but the greater problem is that OpenSSL's code is like hitlers poo.
I kinda want to call Godwin but I cannot understand how this analogy works
So when is this OpenSSL issue getting fixed?
The bug itself had fixes released in under 15 minutes of public disclosure, and fixed packages were released within a few hours for all distributions. The real problem is the code quality in OpenSSL.

Good job there's a box of matches already there to dispose of it.

beautiful
I think I've come to the conclusion today that the PS1/2 controller is the best controller ever made. Its just perfect for both 2D and 3D games. Can Play Super Mario Sunshine just as well as it can do Mega Man 2.
