Directly recorded at 30fps and then directly at 60, and then converting down to 30. So somehow 60fps is easier for my system to do...

I think that convertible Windows 8 tablets are your best bet for usable devices. I couldn't imagine using an iPad since getting my T100. It's just so much more capable.

Data format and hybrid laserdiscs had a capacity ranging between 1 and 4gb per disc. If development had continued it's entirely possible today a single two sided 12" disc would have a capacity of around 500gb.

Right. I have an... odd situation.
Whenever I start a game ( starcraft ) my entire internet drops for 4 seconds or so.
The "fix" for this that I have found is to switch the "Speed and Duplex" property to something other than the one it is set to. I've been switching it between 100 Mbps Half Duplex and 100 Mbps Full Duplex.
I have no idea _why_ this fixes it, but it stops working after a restart.
Thoughts?

I can hear buzzing every time my GPU does anything (so every time I scroll or an animated GIF moves or...)
The odd thing is I can only hear it when I have my PS2 plugged into the Line In jack.
I couldn't stand those noises so I got an external USB card

So I met with a family friend who is the Director of the Service Desk for a big company and they just opened a new office and he wants me to come work with him. From what was mentioned I should be getting a 50 to 100% pay increase and I can switch between job roles. I have a meeting/interview with the other directors of the company on Friday. Seems kind of desperate for attention.
Wow, turning off all the unnecessary whoosh animations that Windows does makes it feel twice as fast.
Should have done this a long time ago.
Turning off animations on Android and probably any other thing in general makes it look faster and it is because you don't have to wait for the animation to finish.
When I turn off the animations in Civ 5 the game goes 10x as fast. :downs:

With animations it feels like it takes a million years to finish a turn.

That's wierd, whenever I turn off animations it seems like the units just take the same amount of time to move, they just sit there for 3/4 of a second and suddenly teleport where you wanted them to go.
Swefox apparently did have a change of heart and he has paid me back half of what he owed me. He was going to pay me back the remaining but his Paypal account got limited for sending too much money to others that he owed. Regardless, he apologized about everything and hopes to resolve the problem with everyone and seek forgiveness, like what he wrote with the account "only4u" before the post was removed. I have also removed the chat snippet from earlier because due to poor choices of word and miscommunication, it made him seem hostile when all he was trying to do was to resolve the money owed by him. After talking to him, he definitely seems to be a lot more sincere now and is taking responsibility in what he did wrong.
I know most of you probably don't care at this point, but I just feel like the need to clarify the situation on his end.
