lmao everything is an antenna.
lmao everything is an antenna.
*witty mom joke* If we can have one coax line supply power one way and send RF back the other, I don't see why the same can't apply to headphones.
So essentially it's powered by magic

any gaming headset recommendations? I was thinking about Logitech G930 but it appears 8.1 drivers are buggy af
Is a gaming headset just a microphone and a pair of speakers? Jeez, there's no need to increase the difficulty of something simple as speakers and microphones. [editline]21st April 2014[/editline] This is why I despise everything that tries to handle something Windows can perfectly do by itself and sometimes with better integration.
any gaming headset recommendations? I was thinking about Logitech G930 but it appears 8.1 drivers are buggy af
g930 works fine on w8.1 for me????
any gaming headset recommendations? I was thinking about Logitech G930 but it appears 8.1 drivers are buggy af
All of those logitech USB/wireless headsets use a really, REALLY shitty soundcard that wigs the fuck out if you have ~20 sources of audio. The fix is to essentially disable everything, and some random ones still bug the fuck out for no reason. They also all have a tiny plastic cone that servers as the swivel for the ear pieces, and it's essentially impossible to replace. Guess what piece sheers off effortlessly. I'd strongly advise that you avoid them entirely. I'd also strongly advise that you get a good set of headphones, and a decent cheap ass microphone to go with them.
I don't like really saying that a certain product is kinda crap... but I have the G35 headset... I really love it. But the drivers are really shit. The audio will go up and down in surround sound mode if more than one application is making noise. Once almost every month the driver will completely freeze causing the headset to make a incredibly hi-pitched ear deafening noise that will cause you to flip the shit out. Other than that I believe the build quality is okay if you treat it nicely and don't run over it with your chair.
any gaming headset recommendations? I was thinking about Logitech G930 but it appears 8.1 drivers are buggy af
gaming headset recommendation: a good pair of cans and a modmic/desktop mic/clipon mic. maybe a PCI soundcard if you're really picky about sound. I know i'm missing the point here, but there's really no upside to buying everything in a single unit, unless you truly believe in "5.1 simulation" and shit like that
Okay well since people are suggesting all these, how many of you guys actually use these two piece setups, and what specific headphones and mics are good?
wireless headset 4 lyfe [editline]20th April 2014[/editline] The G930 respects my freedom to talk to my friends on skype while I take a piss
I keep finding uses for Powershell. I wanted to export a list of movies from Plex and someone suggested saving a page as XML and downloading a tool to read it. Then I remembered "But Windows has one built in".
Okay well since people are suggesting all these, how many of you guys actually use these two piece setups, and what specific headphones and mics are good?
There's a thread for this But my G930 is fabulous. My only problem is if I turn surround mode off, the sound will go to one ear for about a second before going back to stereo. I don't use a two piece setup because muh wireless. I haven't had any trouble with the G930 drivers in W8 or 8.1.
Okay well since people are suggesting all these, how many of you guys actually use these two piece setups, and what specific headphones and mics are good?
You can get headphones to suite every conceivable use. Ask in the headphone thread or something to get a pair in your budget range, and in the style you want. Just get a modmic, or a labtech 7330 (which is stupidly easy to just pop apart and slap a piece of velcro on to). You can also just get a desktop mic if you want high quality sound, but that's going to typically cost more.
wires are icky
wires are icky
I don't like having to charge my headphones. To each their own.
I don't like having to charge my headphones. To each their own.
eh, I just charge them when I'm not using them I never really hard to recharge them when I'm using them, unless I'm pulling an all nighter
Put some money towards this kickstarter. Really loving how it looks, and they got Hideki Naganuma on board so how couldn't I. Installed the JSR port to quench my thirst for cel-shaded toony games and it's crashing when I hit start, christ why. I also got JSRF but I refuse to play it in composite quality and with a busted A button, and can't find a component cable for this Xbox (REALLY LOVE HOW MS CHANGED THEIR PROPRIETARY PORT FOR NO REASON!!! The fact that searching for anything related to the "xbox" shows results for the original, 360 and one doesn't help either.)
Remember this thing I complained about?
so my g2's on 4.4.2 now, with twrp recovery all set up. I just need to find a rom that's actually stable on this phone and then I'll flash it. I really really want to use AOKP because its management of vibrations and leds is really awesome looking, but I've heard that it's both unstable on the g2 and a little lacking in features compared to other phones when running it.
I'm using SlimBean on 4.4.2 wth my i9000, love it. Trying to use the Q menu with a controller looks like it would be awful. Besides, there'd be a lack of content for it.
garrys mod 2 wii u timed exclusive with 3ds and vita versions 7 months later
No. Nonononono. This ain't happening nonono.
Sorry but, you're panicking... why? It has under 100 signatures for one, and the big thing is, Garry has said so many times that Gmod is never ever coming to consoles. Rust might but frankly who gives a shit about that.
Okay so, I want to know if it's worth it to upgrade my PC from an i5-3570k to an i7-3770k. I want to get the most power out of my system that I can, and I'm not that knowledgeable when it comes to CPUs and gaming. If it helps, my other specs are: Video Card: EVGA GTX780ti Power Supply: Rosewill Capstone 750W Motherboard: ASRock Z77 Extreme RAM: G.Skill Ripjaws 8gb
not even worth it
Ah, I figured as much. Really I'm just looking for a way to upgrade my PC more, not so much for practical use as just wanting to do stuff to it.
