I don't give a shit what anybody says, the wireless part of the G930 is to die for and I've never had any issues aside from the kind of weird audio, and that's only a sometimes thing. Having to fuck around with 2 cables for sound quality that I really don't care about is just not worth it.

I still have my i5 2500k and most games dont even use more than 4 cores anyways. Also i still wait for AMD or Intel to release a CPU that is better than my i5 2500k which is clocked at 5GHZ.
How hard could it be to delid a 3570k then solder the heatspreader back on?

The 3570k HIS isn't soldered on, so you can get it back on quite easily by putting some adhesives around the bottomside of the HIS edge.

So you're actually trying to solder the IHS onto the CPU?
If that's the case, then it's impossible. CPUs with soldered on IHS have a metallic back that allows it to be soldered. This layer is absent in CPUs that are not soldered on.
If you're going to delid it, you're better off leaving the HIS off anyways. I don't see why you'd want to solder it back on again.

how many monitors do you have now? Three? Big one in the center, one small one to one side vertical, the other on the other side aligned to the top of the big one and horizontal, put one speaker under the horizontal one, and the other to the side of the vertical one.

The way I'd do it is lift the horizontal one up to the top of the big one, then put a speaker under it and the other speaker next to the vertical one. Or just put the speaker behind the horizontal one. Easy peasy.

Anyway, libgdx is fun to make stuff with, thus a video card is not a big requiment to make android games for now.
Nvidia stronk
I never had any CPU and GPU from AMD ever. I've always been a Intel+Nvidia person.
On the CPU side I went Intel (P4)-> AMD Athlon X2 -> Intel (C2D) -> Intel (C2Q) -> Intel (i5 Ivy Bridge).
On the GPU side I went AMD -> NVidia (9600GT) -> NVidia (GTX275) -> AMD (7850) -> NVidia (780).
And after having a fair share of both, unless AMD pulls something drastic out of the bag, I'll be on Intel/NVidia for the foreseeable future. Despite my dislike of Intel's anticompetitive practices, at the end of the day I want the best silicon for my money so it has to be Intel.
Thinking of switching to NVidia because some things about AMD shit me.

why did you upgrade from the titan to the 780 ti, then to the 290? wouldn't think any of those cards are too different in terms of performance
My first laptop was a Pentium 2, with 128MB of RAM and a 20GB Hard disk drive. I went from that to a Celeron, then C2D, then i7 laptop. For a while I was getting tired of the thing being slow and too hot so I got an i5 PC, then I upgraded to an i7.
I still use my older machines though, they're just running Mint and Windows 7 Pro.
