I dunno, there's a few songs of Scissor Sisters that I kind of like I think. I'm not sure if I they're what I'm thinking of. [editline]24th April 2014[/editline] Fucking hell, that's it, I'm going to bed. [editline]24th April 2014[/editline] Okay I won't, but I'm leaving this thread. For now.
No, I'm- fuck.
But that's Heresy. You must stay.
hersheys are gross not real chocolate
hersheys are gross not real chocolate
how do you americans eat that shit wispa 4 lyfe
hersheys are gross not real chocolate
The only Hershey's product that's not foul is peanut butter cups and their syrup, depending on how it's used, and peanut butter cups are held back entirely by the fact the chocolate is Hersheys.
These spambots are coming up with some pretty interesting random titles: "Our debt omits a graduate in the dreadful genre".
When I'm done with this Amnesia Rant/Review, would anyone here be interested in giving it a look? I don't want to rewrite it and re-record it, but if you find some glaring problems I'm up for it. I tend to stare at a project for a long time and lose my overall focus on it. I need to sit down and just write more, so I figured I'd just write when I'm angry because I tend to get it done and I tend to have lovely run-on sentences which feel strong. /offtopic
Scissor switches are icky
Better than low-profile/mac-style desktop rubberdome keyboards, at least. It's a fucking desktop. Why do you want your keyboard to be thin. [editline]23rd April 2014[/editline]
When I'm done with this Amnesia Rant/Review, would anyone here be interested in giving it a look? I'm up for both, I like your reviews and would love to see them get more views.
i like apple keyboards in laptops wouldn't use one over my mech, though
Crossposting from the Electrical Engineers thread because I thought you guys might like old technology (don't beat me! D: )
So, I found this old IBM Personal System/2 Model 50Z (along with the Model M) at a neighbours house who let me keep it as long as I wiped the HDD, so decided to open it and see what's inside! Not sure if it boots, cause I don't have a monitor I can use (Bloody port's older than VGA!!)
Why is openvpn such a cunt to setup? EDIT: I should clarify, the folder structure seems to have changed in the last couple of releases, and as a result none of the information about it is correct, meaning I have less of a clue about what I am doing than I otherwise would.
Okay, so a DCI 3270 emulator....Not really all that awesome considering you have no mainframe to run it with. If you flip it upside down you can use it in a regular PC. A Token Ring interface...kinda cool if you by chance run a Token Ring network instead of a Cat 5 network like the rest of the world in the last 20 years. Aaaand an ESDI Microchannel hard drive. Kinda cool and the PS/2 users like to buy them to replace or upgrade their own drives. Usually don't get larger than 120mb. That massive edge connector isn't a SCSI interface, it's the fucking microchannel slot. It's like what happens if you put a PCI connector on the fucking hard drive.

I would prefer not. Some things were meant to die.
i like apple keyboards in laptops wouldn't use one over my mech, though
I love it too, it just feels nice.
It's like what happens if you put a PCI connector on the fucking hard drive.
man it'd be neat if someone designed a motherboard with a bunch of slots like the ones old processors used, but for hard drives. I know that there would be problems with vibrations, but the concept of a fully modular yet fully cable-less PC is interesting. Like that razer tower of power thing, but not ugly and awfully proprietary.
You mean like 80 pin SCA? [t]http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/2/28/SCA-2_connector_on_Fujitsu_MAP3735NC.jpg[/t] [t]http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/f/f6/SCSI-SCA-backplane.jpg[/t] Modern SATA drives are sometimes like that but they have no given standard for alignment or orientation, so drive cages are hit and miss in terms of compatibility.

I imagined there'd be something like that for stuff you have to swap often. Cages still have to be plugged into the mainboard, it'd be funny to see something that's direct. (but it'd require a special case/brackets on the board probably)
I've been researching quad-copters and wow lithium batteries are cool. You can get batteries smaller than your hand that put out 3+kW of power. That's just about enough to power an electric oven(but only for 3 minutes)!
Those batteries also get stupefyingly hot. You can power and oven, and still have one leftover.
Science! [editline]24th April 2014[/editline] Oh, my server went critical on me after a failed release update. But booting into recovery and running a package check did fix the issues.
Those batteries also get stupefyingly hot. You can power and oven, and still have one leftover.
Assuming it doesn't go critical and induce a thermonucler explosion first.
Need to get a cheap laptop since my M1530 died and I can't afford a Surface Pro
Implying the Surface is the only good Windows tablet
Implying the Surface is the only good Windows tablet
You got the ASUS T100 which even comes with a keyboard or the cheaper Encore tablet that is 8" and doesnt come with a keyboard.
I'm waiting till the second round, although I do have my eyes on the Venue 11 Pro.

Nearest I've come up with going through only the Hotline Miami soundtrack is this
Wingless dared me on to buy a camera hidden in a lighter. One of these things: This is what $30 gets you. [t]http://i11.photobucket.com/albums/a166/ballsandy/SUNP0004.jpg[/t] One button for on/off, taking photos and starting and stopping the recording. This thing is impossible to use. Thanks Wingless. You made me waste $30.
Can't blame wingless, you are the one who bought it.
She told me to buy it.
