Alright so I guess we are doing this, anyone wanna join us in Syndicate?
Verizon, while a shitty company, really has unparalleled service. I can always acquire a 4G signal and it's goddamn fast. Feel like streaming Spotify? Starts playing in Extreme quality the second you hit the play button. It's great.
I always hear how Verizon is stupid, shitty service, does stupid things with their branding, etc, etc but after talking to people who actually use Verizon (and apparently a lot of friends in the USA use Verizon) say it's expensive but worth the amount of coverage and data speeds you get.
One friend has this $100/month plan that comes with unlimited (probably USA wide) calling, (probably USA wide) SMS, picture and video messaging and 2GB of Data which is A LOT but he says it's worth it since he gets coverage EVERYWHERE he goes and the 4G speeds he gets are always better than everyone elses.
Sounds like Telstra here
They're the best for coverage and speed, but prepare to pay out the ass for it
I would think Rogers in Canada is like Verizon but I don't think they have more coverage than Bell or Telus (the other 2 of the "Big Three"). Now for the raping customers up their ass for their money, now that is true.
Rogers is known to be Robbers (it's a Canadian thing).
I love to hate Rogers, but they're the only company that has service at our camp and I get consistently decent speeds.

Terrible, awful company, with bills that slowly increase for no reason when they're already expensive, but amazing cell service.

I get reception pretty much almost everywhere so far. Only been around Ontario and Quebec and haven't even used much of their data yet. Overall the service seems to be everywhere.
I can raise you.
I can clock 1.4MB/s down and up from any cell phone tower with my network (2degrees)
I also get unlimited texts to aussie and nz as well as unlimited phone calling to aussie and nz
I also get 500MB with 12GB data packs available if I need them.
All for $19 per month (grandfathered and good rep with them)
Tell me about these 12GB data packs and how much they cost?
decided to mess around with downsampling to get a taste of it, and wow there's so much space on the screen on a 1440 resolution. I kinda want a 1440 monitor now

remember to point directly at the sun and look through the viewfinder
also remember to touch the sensor
lick the objective and pour coke all over it
remember to test its underwater functionality by submerging it in saltwater
To develop the photos you need to dip it in acid right?
test damage resistance by smashing it repeatedly with a sledgehammer
and take selfies
if you won't take selfies why even buy a camera
seriously though
Find out where the light meter is before considering using the manual modes. I felt like such a dumbass guessing, trying it out and adjusting before realizing there's a handy scale that tells you that it's going to be under/over exposed.
Also don't forget your editing. If you don't run your images through at least five different filters, you aren't a real photographer.
I recommend reading the manual. Most manufacturers are really good at describing how to photo and use the camera.
Also contrast at 500% in photoshop.

So umm... What's the difference between Z87 and Z97???

Broadwell support out of box and "Just like current 8-series Intel chipsets, the new 9-series core-logic sets – Z97 and H97 – will support various central processing units in LGA 1150 form-factor as well as general functions found on today’s platforms. Expect Intel 9-series chipsets to support six Serial ATA-6Gb/s ports, 14 USB ports (with up to six ports in USB 3.0 mode), PCI Express 3.0 x16 (via CPU, reconfigurable in case of Z97 only), PCI Express 2.0 x8 and so on."
