Not at all, I have looked at my Sandy Bridge i5 2500k which is clocked at 4.5GHz vs a i5 4670k at 4.5ghz.
And there is literally no difference in terms of performance at all.

personally, i find fans matter as much for airflow as case design, and my favorite ones are the medium / high speed D12SM-12 / D12SH-12 120mm ones (medium if you don't have a fan controller, high if you do) from [URL="http://www.sidewindercomputers.com/yateloonfans.html"]sidewinder tech[/URL]
bought a handful a while back and haven't regretted them because they're far better than most stock case fans I've used

yup, it doesn't look hard bricked. as long as you can access fastboot, ADB can solve everything

generally each device has its own way to boot into it, much like how you access recovery. quickly googling "how to enter fastboot <device name>" should get you what you need

Get into the bootloader and try and access it from there, I don't know how Samsung lay out their UIs for that but I don't think it can be that hard.

I've tried using Odin, but it simply doesn't detect my phone at all while the device is in download mode, Windows does recognize a device is connected, but Odin doesn't show anything at all.. And even after flashing a custom Clockworkmod recovery on it, it keeps booting the stock recovery.

if you don't want to mess around with odin, you could still go with fastboot route

I did find the correct Odin version, which does detect my device. It's running as I type this, but it stalled at SetupConnection for like 6 minutes now. Let me look into fastboot I guess.

I'm not sure how to go around exactly that, but flashall? as far as I know, you generally don't want to flash something everywhere. that's pretty much the same as flashing a ROM as the custom recovery, which in short will brick the device.
