Those Calculators look over the top as fuck. Do you guys really need those?
I only had the need for + - / and * in my entire life.
I used a 15$ Calculator bought 10 years ago up until now.

I needed one that could do log and make graphs back when i still had mandatory math classes (and even more when i took the final one, which was non mandatory)

I had a first gen i7 with stock cooler.
I Idled around 80°C, with 95-100°C on load.

I bought my calculator from a guy attending Chalmers (really good uni in town) and it came pre loaded with something like 15 games
Also just noticed that my mobo had a USB 3.0 connector. The new chassi has 3.0 ports but i didn't know about the port, so i had it running through a 3.0 to 2.0 converter :V
why don't you boot linux off it instead?

Overclocked my old $20 galaxy tab 2 to see what would come of it
Pleasantly surprised with the speed. Replacing the kernel and bumping it up 400mhz has turned a total lag box into something actually pleasant to use.

You can install it once, ever, if you need to reinstall after that you need to call TI to have your old product key revoked and get a new one

We just use Maple or whatever on our laptops, much cheaper, much more convenient.
I've always wondered why nobody ever thought to make a graphing calculator for the gameboy advance.
Then when the DS came out I was legitimately confounded. You have something with a fair amount of raw hardware, 3d rendering capacity, good colors, and a good touchscreen. Partner up with someone and release an "official" graphing calculator for like 20 dollars. Make it have a style similar to a classic one, and you'd make money hand over fist from college students.
Texas Instruments is a pretty shady company. Nonetheless, I loved playing around with my graphics calculator when I was a kid, and there's a whole community for graphics calculator programming.
