literally unlimited if your picture is 2048px or smaller on the largest side
+1 for picasa web, you can use ShareX as a desktop uploader and your storage limit is huge
I use cubeupload, works wonders
I share my pictures with people using SSTV
I either use imgur or pomf.se for my pictures.
Looking at getting a hdd for my sisters laptop for her birthday. Newegg has a 750gb WD black for $70+shipping
so i found my old XPS M1710 in the garage earlier today, and i tore it apart. thing crapped out on me years ago, though, the display it still fine. going to buy an external controller board, a 12V/4A power supply, and use it as an extra monitor.
OR
buy a raspberry pi + what i stated above, and turn it into a nice little computer running some distro of linux or something.
any of you guys try something like this?

If you're planning to actually use it for something, don't get the Raspberry Pi
Unless you really like using command lines, they can't do much before you run out of memory

Say, can someone tell me what the fuck happens when sometimes I call someone with my phone and when they answer, all we can hear is this kind of noise?
It breaks my ears every time.
[editline]15th May 2014[/editline]
It's even worse than in that file, more like this (ear rape warning).

Well, wireless adds some delay, naturally.
Can I pretend to be a student and download stuff?
You'd have to get an account sadly, no open networks even if you plug in via cable.
Funny enough nothing is blocked, even torrents work, I'm not overusing it though.

I'm in Science for 7 years now and everyone uses PCs, graphic calcs are such a ripoff.
what could I use instead of an SSH tunnel to forward both TCP and UDP, which is also secure?

Things could go wrong with regedit.
soo my connection to my VPS was starting to get throttled again for whatever reason. I assigned myself a new IP, but this time it didn't solve the issue. I got myself a new, low end VPS (same host) and it's still throttled. funny thing is that when I go to speedtest, everything is fine.

but the second I try to download something

these speeds are pretty much static, so obviously the connection is being throttled with speedtest as an exception to make it seem like it isn't. ughh, really making it a pain in the ass to use the VPS.
obviously the VPS' aren't being throttled directly as it's no help in getting a new IP. could my connection to the VPS' ISP be throttled? is there a program I could use to figure out where in my route to the VPS the connection dies?

Are you downloading over HTTP or FTP?
Are you downloading over HTTP or FTP?
those pics were taken while using a SSH tunnel, so it's all over SSH. HTTP seems to be unaffected, haven't tested FTP but I would assume it's okay there too. SFTP and SSH won't go any higher though.
