I forced 2560x1080@120 but I still had to stretch the picture so I don't have black bars. :v:
is there an aspect ratio setting on the TV?
yeah, but that gives me black bars too lol
[editline]21st May 2014[/editline]
oooor, the same picture as being stretched. No more black bars anyways.
[editline]21st May 2014[/editline]
Normal gives me black bars top, bottom, and both sides. Auto aspect and stretch fills the whole screen.
Anyone done any down sampling with catalyst 14.4?

Man, if I wasn't locked into a contract right now... If you work for the government you can get a pretty badass plan. Unfortunately I'm only working there for the summer...
Wow, five gigabytes of Internet for $50/month! That's a steal!
Wow, five gigabytes of Internet! That's a steal!
I get 1.5GB for $70 AUD, and that's with a 500MB *bonus* for being a long-running customer.
Wow, five gigabytes of Internet for $50/month! That's a steal!
Considering this is what they offer to regular people, yes it's a steal:

In other news, AMC is making a show about the computing boom in the 1980s, they have the first episode up on their site here: http://www.amctv.com/full-episodes/halt-and-catch-fire/3571290828001/i-o-full-episode
It's great so far.

Sadly, this is actually true for us Canadians.
I get unlimited for $25, along with annual upgrades.
I get something measly like 30mb at full speed 3G, then unlimited throttled. Good enough for light browsing. And that's a ~$10 plan.
They also give me like 3000 free SMS or some dumb shit like that. I guess it's because I never text anyone ever.
What benefit would I actually see from something like a 4670k?
CPU heavy games like ARMA, BF3/4, WoW etc. would run much better. The 955 at stock clocks is about as powerful as a sandy i3 if the hyperthreading is actually used
Oh my christ, twitter.

Priceless.
pretty sure they do actually pay royalties to amd for all their x86_64 chips but jesus christ

I prefer to read this as a joke being told poorly, because I just can't handle actual stupidity of that caliber right now.

I don't even understand what he's trying to say.

I'd say his actual mistake is easy to spot. He thinks that Intel licensing AMD64 means that they licensed AMDs cores.
So, after discovering that there is an App where you can choose the songs that are played in the Students Union bar on Campus (very cool imo) I decided to make best possible use of this fact:

this. this fucking song. we put it on the cafeteria speakers every time, and they always had full bass on, the bassline could be heard even to the teachers department on the other side of the building
in the end they removed the whole system

Am I bad for not spotting the mistake?
Gonna be replacing my friend's dad's C2D e5400 with an e6600, worth it?

I like how it mentions having call display and voicemail, as if it's even possible to not get that these days.
I get unlimited data for £12/M (20.26 usd)... With no contract. Yay GiffGaff.
Literally no service difference from my past o2 sim, given they are essentially a brand of o2.
I like how it mentions having call display and voicemail, as if it's even possible to not get that these days.
Gotta fill out those bullet points, somehow!
I don't get voicemail with mine, and I like that fact. Voicemail is a pain to receive, and if I didn't pick up my mobile, it means I'm some sitauion I can't put it to my ear, so sending a text is more likely to convey quickly what someone wants to say.
And picking up voicemail is such a faff compared to reading a text.
I get unlimited 3g/4g mobile internet thats capped at 7mbit for 69$ on my phone.
The thing is, it's actually unlimited and even after using ~70gb I still don't get throttled.
Also they endorse the use of tethering on the phone.
Have they let you on the 4G trial yet?
Your unban reason is fucking golden
...I told him not to mention the games.
That does not matter, but I hope you have learned your lesson, that not following the advice of the mods
and create countless alt's to provoke them/make their job harder can be counter productive.
Anyway, welcome back.
Have they let you on the 4G trial yet?
I'm on the 4G Trial, I just don't go anywhere with 4G :(
I actually play plenty of games at 1080p on my 1600p screen just because of recording them, but it doesn't bother me often. But working in 2560x1600 is just so fucking nice.
It's unfortunate mine is a CCFL backlit screen because without my AC during my recording sessions I feel like I'm getting sunburned with the heat it punches out to my face.
What monitor do you have? Ultimately I'd like to have a PLP setup with my current two 19" 1680x1050 and a 1600p monitor in the middle. I'm thinking the 80 pixel different won't be much of an issue but I'm not sure about the physical size of my monitors vs a 1600p monitor since 1680x1050 is normally a 22" monitor resolution.
How does this look to you guys? This stabilizer takes some practice, but I'm slowly learning to use it.

I use a central HP ZR30w. At this point, get a cheaper korean or monoprice variant.
