I use a central HP ZR30w. At this point, get a cheaper korean or monoprice variant.
I'm wondering if I should just wait for >1080p monitors to see a bit more proliferation. I just measured my monitors and the bigger side is about 16" which I think is too small to fit up against the smaller side of a 30" monitor (If only they could make some smaller 1600p monitors)
Honestly, unless you go triple 30's or 20,30,20 it's not convienent. I do decently well with my pixelpitch matched 1080p's on the side though.
I'd just go triple 1080 unless you really wanted full 2560x1600.
I got 3x 1920x1080 24" monitors.
All 3 the same, and it's amazing.
All 3 monitors being the same model really makes a difference.
1x BenQ G2220HD display @1920x1080.
Dem 2220" man.
I get unlimited 3g/4g mobile internet thats capped at 7mbit for 69$ on my phone.
The thing is, it's actually unlimited and even after using ~70gb I still don't get throttled.
Also they endorse the use of tethering on the phone.
Unlimited mobile internet literally doesn't exist in Norway.
How does this look to you guys? This stabilizer takes some practice, but I'm slowly learning to use it.

Seems pretty smooth, apart from the slight bounce it seems to have.
You know a programming assignment is due tonight when people are messaging me with "How do I use regex"
Bit late on reading this I suppose, but reminded me of the old, but still relevant, quote.
Some people, when confronted with a problem, think
“I know, I'll use regular expressions.” Now they have two problems.
I had the sudden urge to play Zoo Tycoon, but I can't seem to find it for sale for digital download anywhere. Sad.
Also, for songs to play to drive people nuts. Loop this for about 20 minutes.

Now I can finally use my HTPC to play games.
Awesome!
My laptop's fan is quite noisy but if I hold the "2" key down it gets much quieter.
And I can feel the airflow from the key.

It plays GRID pretty well considering it only has Intel's HD 4000 iGPU and a mobile i7 CPU.
....graphics on lowest settings @ 720p.

Well if I wanted to sacrifice the framerate I could always up the graphics.
The thing is I really want the gameplay to be as smooth as possible.
i can play gta iv in 720p on medium settings with around 20 fps on my surface pro 1
so basically a tablet is as powerful as a current-gen (we still call ps4/xbone next-gen, right?) console

My last good cable. :'(
I was hunting a moth and accidentally stepped on it.
[editline]22nd May 2014[/editline]
Time to shop at Monoprice. Their USB cables are good, right? I remember buying some cheaper cables before and they'd charge slow or just not stay plugged into my phone.
[t]http://i.cubeupload.com/xvnNIz.jpg[/t]
feels pretty surreal playing Last Light maxed out with no lag on a Compaq NX7400
so today my surface wouldn't charge, so obviously i was scared.
i check my charger, fucker won't work.
i go try my mom's (american) charger, and it charges. then i try the american plug of my charger in my mom's room, and it works
so i'm like "god damn my european charger plug broke"
and then i notice that i accidentally turned off my power bar/surge protector.
The cheap nasty figure 8 power cable for my charger died the other week, almost Apple tier design with no cable collar to stop the connection breaking off inside.

I like how it mentions having call display and voicemail, as if it's even possible to not get that these days.
Call display isn't on all Rogers plans. Our family plan didn't have it and I know the student ones don't have it. I think it's like $10 extra a month with name display.

Wow. Maybe I'm too young, but I've never seen anyone without caller ID.
I think it's an extra cost on Verizon, too. Though the other day when I got some maintenance done on my car, it came up on my phone as "Big O Tires" instead of just the phone number, and I know I don't have them as a contact in my phone. So unless the dialer is googling phone numbers as they come in, I don't know.
So unless the dialer is googling phone numbers as they come in, I don't know.
That's actually a feature now I think :v:
I mean, it makes sense. Especially because Verizon would never just offer CID for free. They gotta fund their executive's supercars somehow.

That song is fucking impossible to follow if you listen to it, and it's hard enough if you have the lyrics as text in front of you.
Did I mention I have 20 years of experience with the damn language?
Is english easy to pick up as a second language for you guys?
Is english easy to pick up as a second language for you guys?
yup, but from time to time I still have some minor problems talking english.
[editline]22nd May 2014[/editline]
Do you want to learn english?
Is english easy to pick up as a second language for you guys?
For me at least, very. I know fuck all about grammar and such, i go for what sounds right. I mainly learned English on my own from games, tv and books

It's not that hard if you tune out the background beat humms and whatevers
Annoyingly though, i go no problem speaking English to basically anyone, but when i need to speak face to face with native speakers, i drop in skill for some reason
Is english easy to pick up as a second language for you guys?
I honestly don't know.
I forced my mother to buy me a copy of Pokemon Silver when it came out, and before that, I'd only been playing games like Tetris, and some Mario and Wario games, so not a whole lot of text.
EU release of Pokemon Gen2 was in 2001, so I must have been in second grade, and English starts on the third grade here.
I mostly smashed through the game, but I forced my big brother to translate stuff for me when I couldn't figure stuff out, so I was learning the language before official education had even started.
By the time I got to the fifth grade, I never studied for an English test, and I aced them.
I remember the teacher splitting up a massive list of irregular plural nouns into like 4 parts, and testing for one part every few weeks - never studied for it, I don't recall getting a single one wrong.
Edit:
What I'm saying is, I'm a shitty case to study from, because it's never been a problem for me, because I wanted it.
Now, if you want to know about Swedish, oh god. That education starts at the 7th grade, and it's everyone's sworn duty to not learn it. I managed to completely not learn anything.
Just opened up my desktop and cleaned some of the dust out.
My GPU was at about ~70c (give or take a few) and it's now at about 50! It's still kinda dying, but hopefully having it run cooler can keep it running until I can get a new machine.
