Is english easy to pick up as a second language for you guys?
Shrug, I started learning it when I started learning to read, with what reading subtitles of movies and tv shows and stuff.
Like Robocop.
Is english easy to pick up as a second language for you guys?
English was very easy for me to learn as many games that i played with my brother were imported from the USA. I learned English mostly from games and reading.
The easiest language to pick up imho is Norwegian.
I honestly don't know.
I forced my mother to buy me a copy of Pokemon Silver when it came out, and before that, I'd only been playing games like Tetris, and some Mario and Wario games, so not a whole lot of text.
EU release of Pokemon Gen2 was in 2001, so I must have been in second grade, and English starts on the third grade here.
I mostly smashed through the game, but I forced my big brother to translate stuff for me when I couldn't figure stuff out, so I was learning the language before official education had even started.
By the time I got to the fifth grade, I never studied for an English test, and I aced them.
I remember the teacher splitting up a massive list of irregular plural nouns into like 4 parts, and testing for one part every few weeks - never studied for it, I don't recall getting a single one wrong.
Edit:
What I'm saying is, I'm a shitty case to study from, because it's never been a problem for me, because I wanted it.
Now, if you want to know about Swedish, oh god. That education starts at the 7th grade, and it's everyone's sworn duty to not learn it. I managed to completely not learn anything.
Are you me?

Easiest for swedes anyway, it sounds like a thick accent with odd words, but the meaning is pretty clear
Held a 30 min conversation on a norwegian train one time. I spoke swedish and he norwegian

Depends, did you also learn to type quickly on a keyboard because of Runescape?
Wouldn't surprise me if your English skills are better than us natives.
Native speakers have no respect for the language.
Especially those dirty Yanks.

I learned to type quickly from DarkRP

You should've said you had a Lidl then they would have believed you.

I have a Lidl somewhere in the city, but i didn't intend be pretend brittish. I just never mentioned anything that gave it away until that. It was some FP people, so i think i just assumed people had looked at Flagdog
most, if not all, my english knowledge comes from movies, games, books and the internet. I've always remembered knowing english to a certain degree through out my life, it came to me incredibly naturally
At this point I might know English better than Russian. I actually had an easier time speaking to people when I was in America than here.
My greatest challenges would be learning Russian and Japanese because of the writing system.
Some day I will conquer them!

Trust me the writing system will be the easiest part of Russian.

To be honest i don't see why we need more Mobile Operating Systems.
The market is as fragmented as it already is.
iOs always gets everything first then android gets it second and windows phone as the third, and Black berry has side loading of android apps so i don't know about them.
Also what Ecosystem are they gonna use?

Only two or tree major competitors. Sure, really fragmented there. If anything, a little more choice would be nice. I'd like to get off of Android as soon as possible, not fond of iOS myself and the expensive phones they come on, hardly anyone carries Blackberries anymore, and Firefox OS is scarcely even in the US. What sucks is that the Sailfish phones are probably going to have iPhone-esque prices.

I have an easier time structuring sentences in English than Danish, but I suppose that's because there are way more words in the English dictionary compared to the Danish one.
Also, Danish is very similar to English which helps a lot. We've stolen a lot of English words, too. heheh.

Try out Windows phone then, 8.1 is releasing shortly in June along with the Lumia 930 and other not yet announced 8.1 devices.
I had used android since 1.5 came out, day one i bought my HTC Wildfire i rooted it and put on the rom with the least of bloat. After a few years i bought the Galaxy Nexus rooted that 6 months after purchase had even Kit kat 4.4.3 on it.
Then i saw my brother who had purchased a Lumia 920 after his Motorola razr waterproof etc dont know if its razr or not. I looked at his phone and the OS really felt to my liking so i later than picked up a Lumia 925.
I had a really nice transition as well no problems finding apps etc. Really recommend trying it out.
I know fuck all about grammar and such, i go for what sounds right.
that's pretty much English grammar in a nutshell
I hate in school when we have to explain why something is right or wrong. It's like, I know this is wrong and this is right, but how the fuck do I explain it
