Just installed a 840 EVO in my ultrabook. It is now classifiable as an ultrabook again! Woot woot.
Too bad my flash drive is one of them shitty ones with the SSD microcontroller and it's (slightly) harder to flash a Windows installer to.

Where I work, my boss explained me the reason to decline people who have "Too much experience".
Basically the person has much more knowledge for the job at hand than needed, and thus would be expecting a higher-than-usual salary, which the company cannot comply with.

Yeah, in normal situations that would be the case, but I knew this might happen from the beginning.
It was a part-time, fixed-length (1 term) position at the university, so no chance of me becoming the boss.
What they said was that another candidate would benefit more from the position than me as a learning experience, as the winning candidate had a fair amount of personal experience but none in a professional environment, whereas I have experience working in business before.
I understand their decision, I mean they know I can most likely find another job (which I can), whereas the other candidate may have the skills to do it but not the professional experience on their CV, so I guess it is fair really.

as long as you're logged into your uplay account while playing, config and save should move over to release version once it's out.

so I installed my first ever aftermarket CPU cooler two days ago after replacing my old hardware, and I'm slightly worried I may have applied too much thermal paste when I assembled it. I'm not sure if I have any reason to be worried if it has gone off the sides and onto the pins or not as it has been two days now, surely things would have broken earlier if that was the case?
