don't use electric razors
they fuck your hairs up pretty bad.
best thing is a safety razor, but i haven't found an affordable/decent quality one yet, so i use the regular shitty ones:

(four-blade razors are supposedly bad too. i use the three-blade ones)
Generally any kind of multi-blade razor is bad for your skin. They'll easily give you razor burn and general skin irritation more than any other kind. The best razor you can get is a straight razor but it's one expensive habit to keep up. But even with all that the best shave you're going to get is with a non-electric blade. So really just use anything non-electric if you want a clean shave.

Razor vs electric.
I just use single blade disposable ones from Bic, damn good for like a pack of 10.
I use electric because before I used one, I used to get skin irritation from the shaving foam I used and the blade itself. Just saying I have sensitive skin, shame but I really prefer electric over manual shaving.
i know multi-blade is bad, but i'm honestly a lazy cunt and tri-blade takes less effort.
i'm definitely buying a safety razor or a straight razor if i find a good quality one for less than a fortune
Straight razors are cool but so fucking expensive.
I have a Remington shaver from the days when they were also still making computers.

Uhh so I just spilled pop over my g710+. I might need to open it up, it seems like it got in through the only opening to the circuit board at the spacebar. It didn't short out or do anything weird before I unplugged it so I'm hoping it will be ok.
I could shave with my pocketknife - in fact, there's a 2" by 2" bald patch on my forearm where I tested that theory.
I seem to have a curse with Poundland Micro USB adaptors. None of them work with my S3, no sign of any cable issues either. This is my second one that hasn't worked out of the box.
Looks like a Mini Speaker for music etc.
haha holy fucking shit what a disgrace today's humble bundle is
this annoys me so much with premiere, having to change it every time i make something new
do professional cameras use those odd formats or something? i really don't get it
DVCPROHD is kind of the standard next to HDV. For a long time you had DV, this was 720x480 interlaced 60 fields with like a .90126 pixel aspect to make it 4:3. It was 25mbps because that was the bitrate with 1x on MiniDV tapes. From there companies made DVCPRO to make it more for... professional use, but it wasn't as open. Then we had HDV which was 1440x1080 interlaced 60 fields Mpeg2 with a 1.3333 pixel aspect to make it 16:9. Same 25mbps, which made it attractive since it ran on the same tapes people used before. Basically DVCPRO was thrown together with tape and popsicle sticks to get better cameras out faster, HDV came out later but was adopted much more. Hell, I still have an HDV camera, my Canon HV20. Panasonic used DVCPROHD for their P2 cards and camera, but really no one else.
These days professional camera usually still still used HDV since it might not be best quality, but it's already set for broadcast formats, 1080i. Cinema cameras are a different thing.

but today they gotta use progressive right? i see no good reason why they would use interlacing
it's just seems like really outdated technology, and those retarded settings just make it worse
60fps 1920x1080p 1:1 mov here
Interlaced is still very popular with broadcast TV, though more are moving back to 720p60.
Interlacing is just an old backwards compatibility which won't die.

What's the matter with it?

Over here on Freeview and Freesat we can do 1080p on broadcast, I presume the reason however why some shows are still 1080i is because the equipment they have doesn't have the capability to transmit live material in 1080p or that it is too costly or too disruptive to replace it.

huge paywall, not really a humble bundle imo

Originally (I believe, I'm not entirely sure) the reason 1080i is the standard was for bandwidth reasons, considering MPEG-2 was used for ATSC. And honestly, on content that's only 30 fps or lower, it really isn't a huge leap in picture quality for the increased bandwidth required, and even then, deinterlacing generally does a decent job filling in the missing fields. (I looked it up on Wikipedia, the MPEG-2 specification didn't even allow for 1080p60, only 1080p30, as the picture quality was deemed too poor at the maximum effective bitrate of ~18Mbps).
However, compression is far better than it was 10-15 years ago with ATSC specifying a H.264 standard. So I'm assuming its simply for legacy equipment reasons now rather than necessity.
The biggest reason I'm aware of is that for a long time you have tons of overlapping backwards compatibility.
You had displays that were interlaced, then the move to digital had to be interlaced to work with them, then you had codecs which were interlaced to work with the devices, then you had digital displays that were made with them, then you had higher resolution CRT's for interlaced media and then you had to broadcast interlaced to make sure everyone saw it.
Finally we have devices which can do interlaced and progressive through most of the production pipeline, this makes transitioning finally to progressive only easier.
haha holy fucking shit what a disgrace today's humble bundle is
the only good one was deep silver (THE FIRST ONE) and everyone already got that when they did it the first time
These dailies are all garbage
The bundle should have stayed as a special event. It was a big deal people would look for. Just like with steamsales it's just so inflated it's nothing special. These games go on sale so much it doesn't matter.
haha holy fucking shit what a disgrace today's humble bundle is
The majority of these bundles have been awful.
I was thinking that they were probably saving a good bundle for the end, but this was one of the worst so far. The Hammerwatch bundle did the same thing where it's just an art pack unless you pay a certain amount.

I feel like the Humble Bundles have been getting a lot worse. Most of the bundles end up being kinda shitty because they're trying to do too many of them. I'd rather they just do less frequent bundles that end up being great.
I also feel like it's hard to keep up with the constant stream of bundles. Currently, there's three different bundles - the daily bundle, a weekly bundle and a Doctor Who comics bundle. I feel like, unless I'm constantly checking, I can't keep up with it all. Do you guys feel the same way?
I just stopped bothering with Humble Bundles completely because they're generally shit anyway or old bundles. if there's something that stands out, like the Origin bundle last year, I'll most likely hear about it in some thread on Facepunch
I used to defend them because "well, it's for charity" but it's where games that no one really wants any more go to die now.

Nah, there's places that better fit that description.

Horder.

I thought the air bundle (with the airship game, Guns of Icarus Online) was great fun, and strike vector seemed really good too.

In broadcasting, it's actually 720p at 30fps, not 60fps. 60 fps is only for 1080i since 60 interlaced frames would make 30 frames when de-interlaced into progressive scan which is pretty easy to do on most video editors.

Pretty much, however in interlaced its not frames that its referred to but fields.
