I am fucking livid.[/QUOTE]
It's an easy fix, a friend of mine had his Lumia screen completely shattered (much worse than yours) and the display just stopped working after a while.
Bad news is I believe the screen is only available as a single assembly, and the parts alone cost ~£100 without even factoring in labour.
Unlucky.

Honestly though, I would just love if Intel made an unlocked i3.
I use single-core power a lot more than I use all four cores of my computer, so a 5Ghz dual-core would be perfect.

Why do people keep suggesting replacing it myself? I have a fucking warranty.

That's not what I'm suggesting, I'm suggesting you get it repaired by either Nokia or a phone repair shop.
But the warranty probably won't cover it, since you inflicted the damage yourself.
just say
"my phone tried to attack me so I threw it on the floor.... please fix it?"

I didn't do it myself, it was knocked out of my hand. There is absolutely nothing that can be done about that.
Playing retail Watch_Dogs from Uplay with 14.6 Catalyst, I think it's a little better, but not much.
It goes down to 25-30FPS way less now, pretty consistent 40FPS with medium settings, high textures and some anti-aliasing.
what are your specs?
I'm not getting the game on PC since I was getting it on the Xbone for $20 but managed to swap it for the PS4 version, but from what I've seen the PS4 version doesn't look half back for being 900p and "close" to the PC's high settings

Who buys mics? I reached over the counter and stole my microphone from an A&W. :v:

Actually one of my Handycams wirelessly transmit audio and video, so it's not alien to me.
mmm, I love when google drive opens fresh on my work computer and instead of syncing, it decides its local folder is the latest edits to the structure as it proceeds to systematically delete all the new work related shit I did in UE4 through memorial day, skipping a cookout and working til 3:30am instead of sleeping for work
on the plus side I stopped it before it deleted all the raw model data that was the majority of the work

I had this problem too with my semester project. It is god damn annoying.
google drive client sucks
it always duplicates my shit and pulls stuff like that
not sure if I posted before but it refused to let me finish syncing a file a while back because I reached my 15 gig limit apparently, so I caved and paid the $2 for a month with 100gb (which is why I'm making an effort to use it). By the time it finally finished syncing those files it told me that I was using 14.9gb and I was a little miffed

My copy of Learning Python, 5th edition, by Mark Lutz (O'Reilly Media) came.
I've never owned a book this fucking massive before. It's just a bit over 1500 pages.

To be fair, that happens a lot in Japanese too because オーストリア and オーストラリア are only one letter away

Does it have those incredibly thin pages as well. My Linux server admin book is around that size, and those are the thinnest pages i'v seen in a book
Hey, I have some material for you guys. Its not much, though.
There's a relatively new guy here who seems to think he's a hacker. He keeps talking about how he has a high 'hacker level' and has taken down powergrids, etc.
It's been kind of annoying but now he's started intruding on my conversations whenever its remotely about computers - such as talking about certifications today. He butt in and randomly started listing off programming languages (incorrectly I might add - It's not called "A++" you moron).
I just ignored him. But I thought you guys might get a good ol CIPWTTKT chuckle.
Anyone here own a Lenovo U310? I'm looking for a inexpensive 13-15" lappy on the used market that browses the web reasonably snappy and has a longer battery life and it seems to fit that criteria, but I dunno my options very well.

A++ is a language though.
