That probably explains why I deleted my post back then.
You realize you guys are admitting to illegal possession of child pornography, because if you don't report it immediately you are commiting the crime yourself.
he didn't say they let it slip though
he didn't say they let it slip though
You do realize that a police report is filed and will be accessed to confirm it exists, right?
i doubt that would really be top priority for any police force
Well in that case I can bring management down with me.
i doubt it's really top priority for any police force
Go report any sort of cp to any sort of police in any sort of country. You will find their response is gonna be VERY swift.
yeah the difference is that he mentioned someone may or may not have been busted for cp. unless he said they let it slip i doubt it'd be to much attention
also for context i'm talking about mips story not brt
meh

Don't explain it, don't make excuses, just drop it. Get out ahead. If there ever is a next time maybe choose differently. The fact that the drive wasn't destroyed either is probably even worse legally speaking.

CP is kinda like american zero-tolerance, just mostly everywhere. You can get in trouble even if you are just an IT shop discovering it.

Yea, I continue to forget that. I go to share a story and I'm reminded of it.
Yeah, being a proper business and all we dropped the machine off with the VPD during our lunch break and let them deal with it. Also, this was almost three years ago now. We never heard back.
I don't think anyone will find this drive or anything, I wouldn't worry too much about it at this point, this is just a warning to all of us who might get into a similar situation someday. My advice is drop everything and call the police. Definitely don't talk to a supervisor.
If it's a kid's gf or something it's your call I guess.
There was however "SMOOKY"
[t]http://i11.photobucket.com/albums/a166/ballsandy/GoodOldSmooky.jpg[/t]
I don't know the story behind it but it was a hard drive filled with home made amateur porn belonging to one of the former employees who kept calling his girlfriend "smooky". We kept it on a shelf and played it whenever the boss was in a pissy mood. One day we dropped it and that was then end for Smooky.
Should have been Shmorky.
For some reason Puush is uploading my Puush'es to my Private folder.

Oh apparently the setting was changed...

Well this whole discussion ruined my day.
Though in good news I took down 3 reuploads of my videos, which are always fun to take down.
So I was in school working on a project with 3 other people, 2 of us use linux and the other 2 windows. We were using dropbox so sync the .docx files between us. Anyway I got the brilliant idea that I could send private messages through dropbox to the other guy by creating text files that contained forbidden characters in the filename that Windows does not allow, like ": ; ? |" etc. Dropbox won't even attempt to download the files on Windows
CIPWTTKT is now on the FBI Watchlist.

Something went wrong
AMD: Advanced MicrSorry, something went wrong.
Wondering if it maybe worth bringing my 1tb out of retirement as a holder for my films. Had my 3tb drive since April and I've already wasted 705gb on rips from mostly Blu-rays. Its eating up space like anything, for comparison my Steam folder took four years to even reach 550gb.
My dad got a new work laptop today, it's a Thinkpad T430, oh my god it's beautiful and I want to make beautiful love with its ports
shame it's bloody slow, running W7 on an i5 vpro but due to his line of work it's got low level full disk encryption, once it gets into windows it's fast for anything that doesn't need disk i/o

I'm gonna guess it's an i5 3210m it has, my Dad doesn't want a new ThinkPad, but apparently his work is buying tech like Samsung Galaxy Tabs, Windows 8.1 tablets and iPads...
I use Origin so rarely that every time I open it, it has an update.
not really sure if this is computer related (studio mics are computer peripherals, i guess) but my friends and I needed to make a vocal booth so we yelled into my couch

I have a few Duvets in my studio, if I need to deaden the room a bit I grab a couple of boom mic stands and turn them into a T shape and drape the duvets over them.
Works incredibly well. I do also have some Rockwool panels when that isn't convenient.
Matte black is always nice
