I got my Chromecast today. Already I can say that it's awesome.
Did something bad happen that brought you to this?
A lot has been happening lately that just really fucking sucks. Slept in my truck more than I have at home lately it seems.
A lot has been happening lately that just really fucking sucks. Slept in my truck more than I have at home lately it seems.
I feel that. Spent a summer without a residence. A careful balance of finding couches and sleeping in my car.
I've never experienced that before. I have no idea what that is like. All I can do is rate heart.
CIPWTTKT just got deep.
I'm just glad I picked a car that would serve me well if I were to become homeless. Because let's face it, a Miata would not exactly be comfortable to sleep in.
I'm just glad I picked a car that would serve me well if I were to become homeless. Because let's face it, a Miata would not exactly be comfortable to sleep in.
I learned quick to make as many strong friendships as I can possibly manage. Because of this (and also because of a fair bit of luck) I have a large series of couches to sleep on if/when shit hits the fan.
We use one of those cameras as a supplement for our ENGs for production, guess you can't really jam an SDI connector on the small camera. All our cameras are pretty old though, waiting for some kind of upgrade some time. Right most ENG even has an entire column of dead pixels D:
That one looks more like a DVX100 though, which isn't HD
[t]http://puu.sh/9eYJu[/t] I underestimated the size of my new thingy.
What is it, some sort of digitizer? I can't tell because potato.
What is it, some sort of digitizer? I can't tell because potato.
It's one of these.
i bought a tablet for £150 but i'm terrible at drawing and i always give up and on another note, i ordered some drives for a nas yesteday and they're already in town i still don't have a nas though, too many to choose from there's an outlet in town that has a synology diskstation ds212j for half the price, should i get it?
[t]http://f01.imgup.net/Battery5b97.png[/t] That'll teach me to buy a cheap shit "totally legit" replacement battery from china. Being drunk probably didn't help with that.
I've been looking at getting a Nexus 7 tablet, is there anything else I should check out in that price range?
I have the 2013 Nexus 7, it's pretty much the best tablet you can get, regardless of price. 7" is big enough to be a tablet, but small enough to carry anywhere, and it's a fucking Nexus, so you get OS updates directly from Google and custom ROMs will pretty much always have support for your device.
Who the fuck is browsing "http://konachan.com/" (lewd) at my workplace. I see you on the fucking firewall. Don't make me pull out the nslookup [editline]5th June 2014[/editline] My logs are full of lewd things. stop
It's one of these.
I wish the shipping didn't cost so much for Monoprice stuff. If the shipping wasn't so expensive, I'd probably pick one of these tablets up for drawing (since I only have a mouse for drawing.) I was looking to buy these cheap Monoprice earphones since I was curious after hearing good things about them. However, the shipping was around $40. A pair of $8 earphones should not cost $40 to ship - I've had a huge record box set shipped from Europe to Australia for around the same price.

And I already own a note 3 so that's redundant. The Dell Venue 8 Pro that I got for my dad was cheaper and I feel like that's a better tablet, but it does have very little free space (12.5 GB). It does have a Microsd slot, though.
whats a good 1440p @ 60hz IPS screen you guys would recommend? <5ms response preferred
Just bought some headphones, and I'm going to get a separate mic that sits on the desk. Sick of cheap shitty headsets that break instantly because they try to shove too much shit into them, and then cut corners to save on costs. Not exactly top-of-the-line headphones, I got the AKG K514 MKII, but it's working fine for me.
i bought a tablet for £150 but i'm terrible at drawing and i always give up
I'm glad I'm not the only one. Can't bring myself to resell it, either.
Well, looks like I found the guy who watches indecent images of lolis at work. Does not really surprise me.
Well, looks like I found the guy who watches indecent images of lolis at work. Does not really surprise me.
we really need something like that expensive piece of equipment?
Well, looks like I found the guy who watches indecent images of lolis at work. Does not really surprise me.
Are you going to turn him in? [editline]5th June 2014[/editline] b-baka~
we really need something like that expensive piece of equipment?
Our Work laptops are all labeled with a Special computer name, which is logged in a Laptop list. So I just do an nslookup or tracert and it resolves the Computer name. Then I just look up who the laptop belongs to in my Laptop list.
Are you going to turn him in? [editline]5th June 2014[/editline] b-baka~
Meh, He's pretty new and he pretty much got the job because I vouched for him (I kinda assumed he was a Fper/4chan/Weeaboo), So I won't go hard on him. He's an aprentice aswell, so I'll let it slide. I'm gonna give him a small guide on things like Full disk encryption and VPN's. Not because of this case, but because of the school he's going to. School has pretty harsh content filtering and some scholars like to grab other peoples laptop and investigate the contents using a Linux live USB stick.
yeah but the network logging? those programs are usually extremely expensive we have wireless here though, that poses a bigger problem
We have those things intrgrated in our fortigate firewall When you have Wireless, can't you set up a machine running something like Wireshark and create a filter for HTTP requests and automatically log them?
