That's not the reason at all. [B]It cost the manufacturer only a couple of cents to solder a MicroSD slot onto the mainboard, and this includes the price of the slot already. This is the only true reason.
on top of the reason you gave, mine is still valid. it all adds up in the long run [editline]6th June 2014[/editline] why would anyone need more than 64gb in a phone anyways?

I basically use my tablet as the college flash drive.
on top of the reason you gave, mine is still valid. it all adds up in the long run
Except manufacturers aren't removing the microsd slot with the objective to save cost. Having a MicroSD slot is a feature that will help sell your phone better.
Don't use much space on my phone. Unlimited data means I can keep all my stuff centralised on my NAS, Dropbox and Google Drive. Spotify replaced my music collection aside from rare tracks and obviously physical copies. The amount of space a phone has does not even factor into my buying decision, 1GB would do me.
i bought a laptop for portable mass storage, i don't typically store entire series on my phone :v also yeah, spotify means i don't ever really need to store music locally

I don't really use any. The apps I do use aren't particularly big, some are already preinstalled on most (all?) android phones. Email (2x Gmail, 1x IMAP), Google Analytics, Google Apps Admin, Chrome, Dropbox, YB Banking, Spotify, Maps, Google Authenticator. That's pretty much everything my phone gets used for. According to the settings screen I'm currently using 1.05GB. And I have a few apps on there I could uninstall (Samsung built in crap)
Update on that SYSPREP stuff. I gave up after trying to make a recovery system image because it doesn't work after SYSPREPing the system. Maybe Monday I'll try cloning a SYSPREPed drive if I can Frankenstein a computer for cloning with GParted.
talk about lightweight
this is how i feel about most mobile apps (although it's another story if you live in an area that's not fully covered by 3G)
amiga banned for a day.
Don't worry. I'm smacking his shit for that fuckup.
Do you have a G15 V2? The only wear I've got on mine is on the silver Logitech logo badge thing at the bottom middle from resting my palm there when I'm typing.
I have the V1. It's shiny along the bottom edge. I've worn it right down tot he white plastic below both CTRL keys.

Just spent the evening alone on my birthday party (at which 8 friends were supposed to come) . At least I got all that good food for myself. So much money wasted. And to not go completely blogpunch, how worth is it going to a h100i from a cm h212+ at 4.4GHz? (max temp Is 65c in the summer (or 55c if Asus software is to trust more than other software) )

A common refrain from the mobile guys is "they don't know what they want the app to do, they just know they want an app". There are people who have a special mobile website who insist they also need an app. I feel like I shouldn't get mad, because we're getting paid for it either way, but 50% of mobile apps could probably be replaced with a mobile-friendly website.

Once you use it a few times it's cake to use. Another thing I do with the images is defrag the machine before running sysprep. Pre defragged PCs aw yeah.
I need a microSD slot in my phone for Drivedroid. Only other option would be having 64/128GB of internal storage on the phone, to store the ISOs. Thankfully, my i9100 has microSD.

The website works better, actually.

That said I don't understand why all modern OS's don't use something like the OS X application bundle format.
I feel like I shouldn't get mad, because we're getting paid for it either way, but 50% of mobile apps could probably be replaced with a mobile-friendly website.
On the other hand, especially with my shitty connection, it's nicer to look at the app UI while the content loads. I've always preferred native apps, even if they're visually and functionally identical to the website. Usually they just work better than mobile browsers.
I prefer native apps because it kinda uses less data, especially on the go or on slow Internet. No need to reload icons and other stuff every time or whenever you do need to access it on the occasion.
How much performance difference is there between Haswell and Haswell Refresh?
0%
Guess I'll wait for Broadwell or whatever's after that.
0%
How about you actually look that up before posting? http://www.anandtech.com/show/7963/the-intel-haswell-refresh-review-core-i7-4790-i5-4690-and-i3-4360-tested/3
But, my fractional performance gains! It doesn't matter what you buy in the high-end right now. It's going to be a performer for years.
But, my fractional performance gains! It doesn't matter what you buy in the high-end right now.
is the performance even worth mentioning? sure you gain performance but it isn't a big enough to be even worth mentioning.
HAHAHA reminds me of SWEFOX i sold my i7 3770k to buy a 4770k i can total tell the difference!
