Got Dxtory to work with BF:Hardline. Played it a bit, got tired of it and looked at the footage. Oh wait, 16 minutes, 77GB, something is not right. OpenencodeVFW had been lost for dxtory. the fuck? Reinstalled the drivers and dxtory and hopefully it works again.
Is anyone else running Chrome Canary Build? Did they just update the font rendering or something? Every font seems different today! [editline]11th June 2014[/editline] Fonts seems somewhat smoother, my eyes are still adapting to it.
Graphics drivers crashed, maybe?
Logs say that didn't happen. Some shit you just can't explain.
There is a chrome flag for DirectWrite, but its flakey and sometimes stops rendering text all together...
I had an issue with it the other day where it stopped rendering the letter W. Every other character worked, just no W's. [editline]11th June 2014[/editline] [t]http://i.imgur.com/ocENN6j.png[/t] A screen-cap of after a couple refreshes, and it was progressively getting worse.
when that happens you have to close chrome and reopen it there's nothing you can do
Actually, dragging the tabs into a new window fixed it.

When did DDR3 get this expensive?
Since that one fire at the hynix plant
Imagine if ISPs wanted to charge extra for IPV6 access
I'd imagine the ISP competition here would soon kill it off.
My ISP Altibox is giving free extra speed so i will go from 100 mbit to 150 mbit for free. 150 Mbit up and down. Yay me.
My ISP (Eastlink) offers IPv6 for free and I don't think they even mention it. [editline]11th June 2014[/editline] I still hate it, I love IPv4.
This is bullshit. This is 50 layers of bullshit. The toughbook I use for field work had its CMOS bettery shit the bed. I pull the thing apart, remove the old battery, solder in a new holder and battery, reassemble and go into the BIOS to reset everything. The fucking supervisor password set itself. I'm essentially locked out of the BIOS. Like fuck do I know the password.

The manual does not cover bios configuration. The service manual is also unobtanium it appears.
Tried pulling the battery again and holding the power button for a minute or two? Can't hurt to try
It's a security feature it seems. Apparently in the event of a CMOS replacement the BIOS will lock itself down until a technician "services" it. In this case however killcmos.com resets it. That's so fucking dirty. Panasonic of all companies. Shame on you.

I think I die a little inside every time I hear a my clean pc or similar ad on the radio.

Looks like I'm just on the cusp there. I'm wondering if, what with all this newfangled eighth generation stuff happening, it's time for a GPU upgrade this Summer.

Shame on you.
I assume its less dirty than it is an intentional "security feature" to thwart a malicious password reset. However, I assume Panasonic never intended for the battery to be replaced by an end-user, years down the line. :v:
According to Panasonic's website they never made a CF-25. Everything relating to it has been scrubbed away. It's like Sony. I dare you to ask for product support on a 10 year old device. They'll deny they ever made it.
The fastest possible speed I can get to my house is 150/20 and it's $250/mo
Apparently, our ISP is supposed to be giving us 60 Mbps internet since they doubled our download speed. I'm surprised since its one of there lower packages (45/mo). But my fucking Wireless G bridge. One of these days I to run ethernet to my room. Only thing that can max out the connection is my stupid Mac Mini G4 server.
The fastest possible speed I can get to my house is 150/20 and it's $250/mo
I dont understand that shit you pay 250 dollars and you only get 150 down but 20 up? 20 up is retarded. Why do they not give 150/150?
