Raw nutella also doesn't taste good, you need to put it on bread where it can extend its great flavor.

Prinzenrolle on the other hand is delicious.

Since a lot of people use Netflix, I'm curious. How good is the video quality on Netflix?
I've noticed compression artifacts when watching video on other streaming services. Like, with Crunchyroll, fast paced scenes (fight scenes, opening themes, etc) have really noticeable compression artifacts.
1) What the fuck is SuperHD
AFAIK, it's just a higher bitrate mode for 1080p.

As far as I can tell, very little compression artifacts, as long as your connection is good and your not using the lower quality settings. Not Blu-ray tier obviously, but you won't notice unless you look for them. Biggest problem is the fact that not all movies and shows are available in HD on the browser (not even a connection issue, they are just outright not available). On my Chromecast, 1080p, no problem almost every time.

Netflix has a garbage library and garbage quality imo, I'm very picky about my bitrate and video quality for my media so I always just download bluray rips of everything and add it to my media collection. Offline viewing and its exactly what I want

He must also be one of those people that demand every photo they see be shot on hassleblad medium format cameras with 60MP or more.

You don't have to believe in any of that dumb shit to be an audiophile. Actually, come to think of it, what would you call someone who prefers high quality movies? Videophile?
Regardless, you put a 2GB yify rip next to a properly done 30GB remux and tell me if you can't see the difference. If it doesn't bother you, suite yourself. It bother's the hell out of me, as do mp3 transcodes. Enjoy not needing terabytes of hard drive space for a film and music collection.

My problem with Netflix is how inconsistent it seems to be at times. Some shows are encoded absolutely perfectly for streaming. Some stuff is a pixelated mess. That and they have yet to make a good player.
The ridiculous delay on them getting stuff is why I don't bother with them though. I know it's not really their fault, but it's inexcusable in the 21st century to have delays of several months, sometimes a year or more, on TV and film.
You're talking to someone who has to notch youtube down to 240p in order for it to not be a slideshow.
Maybe you should get some equipment that can use hardware acceleration then?

Even my old T42 from yonder 2004 can run YouTube in 480p...?
The HD3850 falls to its knees when you are running two screens at 1680x1050. It was fine back when I ran two CRT's at 1600x1200.
I have no idea why.

I don't notice "compression" on netflix really ever. Sure the resolution is low on some videos due to it being done in SD, but I never felt like Netflix's compression was holding it back. It usually looks great to me.

"kek" is Orcish for "lol", that phrase doesn't even come close to making any sense.

I can't even get it to display in 1080. Bitrate is fine, but the low res really pisses me off. Like, what could possibly be the reason? I'm seriously starting to think it's because they're racist and it's because I'm in Denmark.
If I could get it to work in 1080, I'd consider continuing use of it after my free month, but as long as I can't, fuck it.

Am I the only one that runs a BIOS password, a Windows password, and have an extension on Firefox requiring a password to be put in before use as well? Back when I ran Linux full time, it was an even bigger hassle for a non-tech literate person to use my computer as it would boot up to command line and I'd have to manually launch a WM or DE
