But it's a gold mine for short cables.
I have now reinstalled my Laptop and it now runs Windows Embedded 8.1 Industry Enterprise (Jesus that name), along with truecrypt FDE.
Laptop runs really well, and even all those apps I never use aren't installed.
TrueCrypt is useless now. There was a security breach and they stopped development of it.

Just because the dev(s) told us to not use it anymore because MS doesen't support windows XP anymore (Wat), doesen't make the version that existed for x years automatically insecure.
The devs just say "Guys! don't use this software! it's insecure!" without providing facts on why. this smells worse than RMS's toe cheezs.

I think it looks rather nifty, but I'm having trouble justifying it for even $9 because it lacks forward/back buttons so it would hardly be better than the nice glass-topped touchpad my Elitebook has.
3TB HDD is now 100€, so the price per gigabyte is lower than 2TB(77€) and 1TB(52€)
