With Kepler you can't have anything between the Titan and Titan Black - they're only one SMX apart.
Also, Nvidia's pretty much always done top-tier GPUs in their dual-GPU cards. The 690 was two 680s, the 590 was two 580s, the 295 was mostly two 285s (they had some ROPs disabled and a smaller memory bus), the 9800 GX2 was two 9800 GTXs, and that's as far back as I'm willing to look.
They do use lower clocks, but only because of TDP issues.
I guess I should have said performance, not physical chips. And that makes more sense with the Titan and Titan Black only one apart. Thanks
Found a solution.
dir /-d "*" | FIND " 0 bytes"
Outputs 0 if empty otherwise it has files.

because Windows Batch was being a dick and not updating the ERRORLEVEL.
So guess who just scored a Gamecube Ethernet adapter?
Seriously, I just randomly decided to check eBay for cool shit since I noticed I had a bunch of money sitting in my Paypal account, and I found one being sold cheap, ending in five minutes. Easiest bidding I've ever won.
Now all I need is a component video cable for it and I'll have the pimpest Gamecube you can get (I've already got the Game Boy Player).

Now try to find a dreamcast broadband adapter

My friend had one with one of those adapters back in the day. The didn't even have it connected, though.

If only Kingston didn't do such shady shit with their SSD's, this would be such a steal. (Although it's probably on such a deal because they did shady shit)

the elusive affordable Component Gamecube Cable has always been one of those things that pissed me off. Why not just build the component output capability directly into the console? Does nintendo just not care about video quality? (the wii not having anything better than component and the wii mini not having anything better than composite suggest they indeed don't)
The v300 wasn't bad from Kingston.
Is that not the drive that they switched to asynchronous NAND without telling anybody?

What does a bluetooth headset have anything to do with SSDs?
[editline]17th June 2014[/editline]
Nevermind
God damnit. I swear I linked the SSD in daily deals. I checked it too. I know I did.
Edit: Yeah, turns out the item still cycles if you just link the url from clicking on the daily deal

Because a lot of people back then didn't have component inputs on their TV. A fair number *still* don't, and we're two generations past the Gamecube.
When Nintendo first built the Gamecube it was incredibly forward-looking. That's why the Wii is basically an overclocked, scaled-out Gamecube - the design was already close to perfect. They knew digital output was coming, but since they couldn't predict what standard was going to come out they made a generic output that literally requires a converter chip in the cable to turn it into something usable. Expensive, but if they had kept it going they could have easily adapted it to work with HDMI. They put out the component cables as a sort of test.
But then they realized they needed to make money. They ditched the output hardware on later revisions, and stopped production of the cables (they never even hit retail in the US - they were online only).
So yeah, there's no way to make clones of them because of the weird chip, and there's an ever-dwindling supply of them. Prices are going to be high.
The Wii Mini lacking anything but composite out is bullshit, though.
Guys I plan on cleaning the insides of my computer. It is full of dust when I opened it some time ago. So do I like vacuum all the dust when the computer is off, the power bar and supply is set to off position on the switch and I vacuum as fast as possible.

Hire a French maid to dust it.
The Playstation TV looks like a really nifty option for a cheap console. I'd rather have it than a Wii Mini.
Damn it, I accidentally bought a counterfeit microSD card.
On the positive side, buying a counterfeit microSD card and an actual microSD card combined is somehow still around half the price you'd pay for one in a Best Buy.

Well, yeah. Most anyone would.
The Wii Mini isn't really mini, anyway.

1. Haul computer outside
2. Take bicycle pump, attach needle valve or similar air constrictor
3. Pump away
I also believe I saw a thread a couple weeks ago in which an anal douche was recommended. Might be worth a try.
Going back to that Nvidia Titan discussion I figured a few months ago when I got my GTX 760 that if I bought two at £200 each I would end up with something more powerful and end up with £200 to spare. Not sure if the current one has a poor price to performance ratio in comparison but it wouldn't surprise me.

Yes I do too, they're great!
Not sure what this has to do with computer dusting though. :v:
I think I got a little carried away while drunk.

My mac's keyboard is uh, in something like 50 pieces in the other room. I can't remember where the monitor went either. I'm still kinda buzzed. I can't remember anything that happened in the last hour.
Edited: I found it. It's all piled out in the garage. I must of tried to get out of computing or something again.
Ew, store-brand cola.
30 rack of PBR under my desk. Gotta love having the ability to drink and do whatever you want.
The Wii Mini lacking anything but composite out is bullshit, though.
The Wii Mini is a fucking joke. Not only does it lack any output beyond composite, it has no Wi-Fi, 1 USB port, no SD card support and lacks GameCube compatibility.
Just get a cheap original model since they're much nicer.

I just want to thank all the people who share stories like this for continuing to ensure that I won't drink.
My bank's website keeps wanting me to allow Silverlight but it says no where on the website what it wants it for, and the message to allow Silverlight has only come up in the last three days.

Playstation TV? Isn't that the Vita TV?
It's Playstation Vita TV in Japan but in the US it's called Playstation TV. All it does is stream PS3 games, stream PS4 games to a second TV, and play Vita games. Doesn't seem all that amazing imo

Yeah but it's a vita for 1/3 of the price.
I rather just get a Vita and take it everywhere. And it's 1/2 the price of the Vita in the US at least.
i'd rather buy a playstation tv because i don't really play video games outside of my house
plus i can use it with my ps3 controllers
[editline]18th June 2014[/editline]
i completed hotline miami on a vita and while i'd say it's a well built handheld i don't really have any use for portables anymore
I can't imagine Vita games looking good on a TV.
I really don't see much of a point to the thing when you can do almost the same thing (dunno if the PS3 streaming is coming to Vita or not) with a Vita already and still take it everywhere.
