Also I would not recommend anything Vita right now, the game selection is seriously starved. There's a lot of JRPGs but I'm burnt out on that genre now, and AAA games like Borderlands 2 are a half-assed port (but not unplayable, I still have a lot of fun with BL2 since I don't give a shit about low FPS.)

You're better off getting an actual PS3 for a bit more money off eBay or something and skipping the fairly poor Vita library unless you like JRPGs and not so incredible ports.
Especially if you can find one with early firmware or one the seller offers installing a custom firmware on.
Custom-firmware PS3s are the best.

They aren't pretty, but they're functional, have a more well established game selection, and I've dealt with both this website and Best Buy refurbs in general and they massively overstate damage to these things anyway. My "refurbished" Galaxy Gear is like new, without original box.
The Vita library seriously sucks. Who, in the general audience, is going to see games like P4G, Danganronpa, Zero Escape: Virtue's Last Reward and Disgaea and say "I want to play this?" They're fun. Don't get me wrong. But they aren't appealing looking games at all; diamonds in the rough, for sure, but the rough in question is [B]very [/B]​rough.
Cowboom is pretty cool. I was about to get a 120GB PS3 Slim for like $90 but they sold out by the time I made an account :v:

Isn't Sony supposedly doing another PS3 slim redesign? Or was that just another silly rumor?
My case has stupid plastic lock things for PCI/PCI Express slots, instead of just having screws.
When I installed my R9 270X, the plastic locks wouldn't go into place, and I didn't have screws, so I just used cable ties to hold it in place.
Turns out that the aluminium+copper combination of the massive heatsink on the GPU was so heavy, without the screws, it basically just fucking smashed the PCI Express slot.
My old HD5770 manages to stay in place, but the R9 270X is too heavy, so the contact surfaces on the "up" side of both the card's connectors, and the connectors inside the slot on the motherboard can't connect.
Been fighting with it for almost a week now, I'm going to have to order a new motherboard (and a new CPU whilst at it) tomorrow, but at least I can use my 5770 temporarily while I wait for those to come.
This time, I'm going to attach screws the size of the fucking Eiffel Tower into the slots, and I'll build supports out of Unobtainium for it, if I have to.

Ordered shoes, t-shirts and shorts from The Hut. Was supposed to be like £40 but had a discount code. Took it down to £30, cause of the weird way they do bundle offers, on the order page the shoes were reduced to £0, the shirts reduced to £4 and the shorts were marked as £26. They dispatched the shoes and shirts this morning, then cancelled the shorts cause they ran out of stock, they ended up charging me £4 for shoes and shirts.

This reminds me of when I was cleaning out my old desktop-turned-server a couple months ago. To get better access to the heatsink's fins, I pulled the fan off the assembly. After cleaning the heatsink out, and struggling for an hour to try to get the little piece of rubber that held the fan in place before to fit back together, I gave up and settled on taping the fan on the heatsink... Which was a bad idea, because about a week later, the fan fell off the heatsink, and tore my PCI NIC out of the motherboard, bending both the card and the slot. I can kinda jerry-rig the two together still, but it's about as safe as the original taping the fan on idea.

I can't stand the taste of beer. I've tried a bunch, they all taste like either mud or piss. Or both.
