Before what? A house fire?
the only place your cpu should even come close to hitting 85c is in torture testing applications. what is your idle temp?
[editline]20th June 2014[/editline]
i don't think i've ever seen a motherboard temp go so high either
I have $2.20 in my wallet and I've been wanting to buy the Squigly DLC for Skullgirls (which is $2.49 atm.)
I am so close yet so far.

My Mac mobo idles around 90C. It also loads around 92C - and it apparently works just fine at that temp. It gets like no airflow and had a tiny heatsink for a workstation northbridge, but I guess as long as it works...

That sounds almost like something you need to talk to a gynecologist about

Any of you ever use a program called Synergy? It lets you use multiple computers with one keyboard and mouse, but I really love using it because it lets me use my laptop like a poor man's second monitor.
Keeps me from wasting money on a second monitor and puts my old laptop to use for a lot longer! Also, my laptop is an XP machine, thus the XP tag on my post.

I used it years ago, when Ubuntu 10.10 was the current one. it "worked" but was a pain in the ass back then.

I stopped using my Xfire somewhere around 2009-2010 I think, and my profile has 4352 hours of World of Warcraft on it.
I've probably spent over double that by now.
Get on my plane, I'm practically pure energy now.

I'd use it more often if it didn't make my view in FPS games go nucking futs like you're trying to play with a tablet
... Anyone know how to fix that short of just not using it? :/
Also, I had to reboot my PC to enable ReFS support (going to play around with it), and when rebooting, I noticed that 2 of my cores were disabled because I had reset my BIOS settings.
No wonder some games were a bit slow, I was running with a dual-core.

Around 75c
I'm practically afraid to leave something minor running to wake up finding that the computer started heating up the backup drive in the mean time.
Good thing this lappy doesn't have the intention to burn down a house and play a game of TF2 pretty decently. And it's a computer from Toshiba; Brand named!
