Damnit, something's constantly accessing my hard drive for like 5 minutes after boot, making it sound like a lawnmower running underwater Task Manager doesn't show anything reading or writing to the drive though, all the counters just sitting there

Or do you mean after the boot when something decides to use it?

I would use the IRC more often but it's always dead whenever I go on there. Same with the mumble.
Anything I should keep in mind when installing the new ssd for my dad? Already told him to not defrag, and i read something about trim..
IRC Port is blocked at work (We block every port on outbound. Don't ask thx), so I am kinda limited.

Oh bby Going through logs, updating firmware, and trying to find out why my RT-N56U is suddenly being a fucking piece of shit the last few days.
So. I was going to image Windows 8.1. Everything went downhill from there.

Yea my router must just be dying. What should I perhaps consider for a replacement.

Used to own that one. Sucked. [editline]20th June 2014[/editline] ASUS's twitter feed is trying to sort out some problems for me. Will see if it works.
I'd like one of those Asus routers as a replacement for my current one, I want that lovely IPv6 support.

It's still going for the past few hours and I'm going to fucking shred through all the shit. My old ass NETGEAR gotten the support from a firmware a while back.
Is the G2A live chat down for anyone else? it's not down per se but its just an empty page.
Update your firmware. My old ass NETGEAR gotten the support from a firmware a while back.
I doubt it would be the case for my crappy ISP provided one.
I think I'm going to get the current iPhone and macbook as a duo when my contract's up christmas 2015. I love my g2, but god damn it kills me the lack of unity between apps, you can't argue apple devices work well and look damn good while doing so
you can't argue apple devices work well
But when they fuck up, they fuck up big. There's a bug in the activation stage on some versions of iOS that asks for your SIM code, and then doesn't let you enter anything. It just says "hey, enter your code", and then you press next, and it goes "wrong code, try again". This means you're fucked and your phone is a brick until you can get another phone, put the SIM in that, and disable the code. There's also a case of HORRIBLE UI design when trying to set the date and time. This is something that won't be a problem to most people, but it has happened to me thrice while fixing iPhones: When you cut the power completely to an iPhone, the date gets reset to unix time. In some cases, this means the phone can't connect to the phone network, and just searches forever. To fix this, you have to manually set the date. This is the problem though: The way you set the date is by scrolling through a list of days. So I had to spend like 15 minutes scrolling from the first of January 1970 up to today. But here's the biggest glitch I've heard of all: A friend of mine started experiencing touch screen issues with his iPhone, almost like it needed to be calibrated. He updated the phone hoping it would fix the problem. Unfortunately, it made the problem even worse, and anything on the left half of the screen was untappable, and the phone would respond as if you tapped the right side of the screen. Totally fucked up. Now, you might think this is a hardware problem. Nope. He took another iPhone and restored it to his backup, and the same exact problem happened. It will forever remain a mystery, and he spent 3 days trying to find a solution. He had to give up and factory reset his phone and start all over.
I kind of want to just get a 68U because it's the most expensive. But I still think I have money.

I wonder when/if Intel will ever make one, they do wireless shit if I recall.
what's this rapid mode thing for samsung SSD's? I'm getting "too good to be true" vibes. if it had no drawbacks, why not enable it as default? I'm worried I'm shortening the lifespan of my SSD by enabling it
