Are those turnigy multistar ESCs?
Are those turnigy multistar ESCs?
Yeah, I wouldn't recommend them though. The BECs on all four of them burnt out and nearly caught fire the first time I plugged them in.

Yeah... I have some 15a ones. I don't have any BEC issues but I do have a ton of issues with actually using them. The whole arming codes and shit are a complete pain. I have my goddamn FC for that, I don't need it in an ESC.
So today a laptop came into the shop that came with 7, but the owner had installed XP, but in XP he installed a 3rd party skin to make it look like Vista. Dafuq?
Install Red Hat Enterprise Linux 5 on it.
6 ships with an ancient version of GNOME2 that feels like you're stuck in 2002-2004, I don't even want to know what 5 ships with.
Basically, after a certain point with all signals, a higher sample rate just allows for signal processing with less quality loss.
Extremely high bit stuff can actually end up being worse than 8 bit if you don't have the right equipment. There was a lengthy argument about it on what a while back. A lot of gadgetry isn't designed for 24 bit, and there will be some fairly noticeable distortions as a result of it. They actually implemented some rules changes because of it. More recently they did the same stuff with sample rates. There are a lot of problems with high sample rates on more than a few pieces of hardware.
As an armchair audiophile I think it's snake oil. Don't get me wrong, there are some uses for enormous files. For example, say you modify a piece for something like a remix. That's entirely valid. You can retain high fidelity while messing with it. For general listening though? It's worthless. There are few enough people that can distinguish between CD quality and MP3 320, and that's assuming an ideal environment. Going above that is getting into a niche within a niche. Even in a perfect listening environment with very good equipment, I can't imagine there are more than a handful of people that can tell the difference between CD quality and anything higher, be it bit depth or sampling rates.
EDIT: note I may be getting the timeline messed up. I know that rules have been added for booth of those over time.
So we just got back from BestBuy, we bought a ASUS RT-AC66R. Going to do an unboxing thing of it maybe since I haven't done tech videos in a while.

this font rendering and firefox's smooth scroll thing are already making me dizzy and linux isnt even installed yet
If you don't like the font rendering in Ubuntu, I assume, you might want to look into fontconfig that has Infinality patches preinstalled, there are some easy ways of installing that setup on Ubuntu (at least I've heard).
It lets you change the font rendering.

Oh man I totally forgot about those! Those were huge when Vista came out. I remember it was also a thing to theme XP to look like OS X. A friend of mine even had a bootlegged XP install disc with all those themes and crap on it.

So results so far. Ping tests on 5ghz are returning 32ms to google. 2.4ghz is 38ms.
My speedtests sit around 25/10 on 2.4ghz, 5ghz are doing about 40/12.
And it has yet to drop out. I didn't do a speedtest months ago when I moved my desk, so it's possible my new setup has worse reception, but there is no way it could be attributed to my position when I'm getting 2.5mbps and like half packet loss.

Now to test BF4 to see if it cuts out.
I just got paid for a real life transaction via paypal by a coworker. I don't know how I feel about it
Oh hell yes, this is wonderful. Also seems like the router is beamforming the more I use it, since when I first did a speedtest it was around 10mbps, now it's peaking around 50.
