The other great thing? After finishing a video it autoplays the first related video. You know all those times the related videos were clips of medical procedures or horses fucking? Yeah too bad it just automatically plays those in fullscreen
Why does every single sports and news website do this on their players? I hate it so much.
No, I don't give a fuck about who is boning who in holywood. I wanted to see some shots of the article, and not have to scroll up the page to stop the video so I can keep reading the rest of the article.
You sure nVidia Optimus (or whatever it is now) isn't defaulting to your CPU's IGP for source?
This is a serious problem within a certain branch of the Source Engine, there is something horribly conflicting with Optimus, see my thread here
I too get better performance on my HD4000 in gMod and TF2 than on my 650m Optimus.
The FPS issues shouldn't exist for Chains on Portal 2.
anyone here good with downsampling and samsung monitors? when i set a resolution above 1920x1200 this happens, also happens when i attempt to overclock the monitor. i'm using dvi if that helps.

if you can't tell what's happening, the image is 5:4 (i think) and is very blurry.

It means that you set to high Hz or to low pixels.
i believe hitting the menu key a few times stops it i also have a samsung monitor and i've done this and it's ended up just fine.
that fixed the OSD warning, but not the image being broken.

my monitor supports up to 60hz
[t]http://share.manandtumor.com/KBUna.jpg[/t]
if it gives you that when you try to put the refresh rate above reccomended it means it doesn't support the rate. try moving scaling to the GPU in nvidia panel
oops, had to set the active pixels to my monitors native resolution :s

Today I made a domain server and managed to make a few users for testing as a proof of concept for a company wide enterprise computer system with evaluation copies of Windows Server 2012 and Windows 8.1 Enterprise.
Also, if you look in the images EXIF you'll notice I've gotten something new today.

Nexus 5. Wise choice.

Company DNS server.
Practically useless to any normal person out there unless they want some sites blocked or some false positives.

Unless of course someone is looking for a server vulnerable for a DNS reflection attack. No idea if it's vulnerable, just saying, be careful with that shit.
ur hacked im stealin ur mony
fuck i hate not having money. a few minutes ago i was like "hey i should buy a 4k monitor" then it hit me that i haven't worked for 2 weeks and i have 0 cash.
Is it even worth considering a 4k monitor right now? Aren't they 30hz still?
Is it even worth considering a 4k monitor right now? Aren't they 30hz still?
if you do some hardcore programming work it might be worth getting a cheap one as a secondary with a 1440p primary
alternately if you have enough monis to get a 60hz 4K display and enough graphic power to drive it
i probably would run source games at 4k and everything else at 1080p. the extra pixels would be pretty good in fl studio, especially on the mixer.

Think about how much porn you could watch on a single monitor
Think about how much porn you could watch on a single monitor
A lot of the sources are all low resolution and from 2000
Think about how much porn you could watch on a single monitor
assuming 480p, couldn't you watch something like 36 different videos?
I've got cable in an apartment, never seen the node, probably in the locked utility room in the basement. I get pretty close to my advertised speed over ethernet, with occasional drops in thw middle of thw night

Shiet, a couple of them are around $800, not expensive at all actually! I'll wait until they get better though.
I'm going to be doing a gameroom thing on GameWisp here https://gamewisp.com/room/50
It's like a video chatroom where I can setup videos to play and its synced with people. They asked me to run a room and test it out and give feedback.

Dragon Age must be hitting hard times if they're paying people to play it

I have no idea what I'm doing!
Background:
I'm a Comp. Eng. at an intern where they want me to help them setup a few servers. I'm not an IT guy, so I'm experimenting with some VMs first. Got to get more RAM...
