[t]http://puu.sh/9MPoc[/t][t]http://puu.sh/9MPom[/t][t]http://puu.sh/9MPoI[/t][t]http://puu.sh/9MPoZ[/t] This fucking shit.
At work we just went from Exchange 2003 to Exchange 2013, and its a mess. I mean technically, everything is a-okay. But holy goddamn, employees are pissed. They keep complaining that they want the old Web Access back and hate the new "yellow" one and how confusing it is. So I have to show them how to log in to the new one and ugh, its a mess. And then since its using a self signed certificate, every browser will complain about it then people think its not working. I personally think the 2003 one was dreadful and only worked proper in IE adding to its shittiness. But whatever. People get set in their ways. Though in hindsight, if it was up to me when they rolled it out, I would have sent everyone a memo on the changes. Then at least I could say it in the Office Space-esque "did you get the memo?"
i was liking mactype till i found this and this... what is kerning? [editline]27th June 2014[/editline] switched the profile and i think its a bit fixed.
I tried mactype once, thought it looked awful. I'm on a native-res display with no scaling and too damn used to my cleartype garbage, I guess. [editline]27th June 2014[/editline] Cool, spotify is bugging me to update, and they don't believe in release notes for minor versions or whatever.
Got in an old satellite pro t2150cdt at work today. I want it if it still works
I don't think I'll be able to crack this BIOS lock. I was told that I could still boot from the SD slot but now that I have spent a good hour going over the machine and googling around it seems that no, it's locked out too so none of my decryptors or CMOS corruption tools can be run. It's also too new for me to overflow the keyboard buffer. The four known backdoor keys do not work either. I'm quickly running out of options short of paying way too much to mail it off and have some asshole short a test pad somewhere that is documented deep in google.
huh, mediamarkt has started selling 3d printers for $3300
That's a terrible price, unless they're SLA or gigantic or otherwise ultra high quality.
everything is expensive here is it really that bad though? think of it as $2200 i think it was a makerbot, didn't really see though
Makerbot overprices everything to hell. Personally, I would never buy from them. They do a lot for the community, but I don't think their printers are worth what they charge for them.
USD2200 is still far too much for an FDM printer. Our DeltaMaker, a high end one, was $1200.
To pick up programming or 3d modeling as a pastime? Also where the fuck to start for either?
With programming you likely will have more work.
With programming you likely will have more work.
Eh. I've got freetime.
I meant it's a talent and skill that will likely bring you to a better career or job prospects, not that it's harder.
Ah, yes. Well that is true. Don't even know what would apply most to my upcoming job field. I've just been realizing that my knowledge in hardware will get me very little sadly. It's what I enjoy learning about the most.
Learn Visual Basic. It's extremely helpful for getting an IT job.
Looking into my options atm. Been working python for the last few days just for the sake of making little quality of life things. Trying to decide what would be most helpful. (Currently going to school for wide area network technologies)

That's how I reset the password on my Acer Aspire One because it had a faulty password entry screen that corrupted any password you put in so it was effectively bricked at that point.

bt seems to give me endless routing issues. i can only access facepunch and google right now and it probably won't be fixed for a day or two :/

It's spreading. Useful map to see where the problem is mostly affected. The gradient is just how dense the population is that use BT.
Good to know I'm not the only one getting this, I guess.

Even on my old CF-25 pulling the CMOS battery didn't work (in fact, it actually sets an unknown password) and the newer toughbooks start using things like an NVRAM chip to retain settings through power failures as to comply with police and military spec. Nuking a password suddenly becomes a lot harder.
my hdd hit the red zone for the first time ever today, thanks ass creed 4 for being so bloody huge
oops....i have a 1TB drive outside of my C:\ solely for games and i hit the redzone a couple weeks ago i deleted some shit games after that but haha so many games
I don't like it when people put all stuff to the C: drive. I just keep it at 50 gb and use either D: or E: for everything else
