Too bad Wildstar isn't on steam. But I bought it anyways. So I can't afford any other games.
I would of went for Wildstar but I don't play Pay to Play games(montly payments to play a game that I originally bought? no thanks)
You can use ingame money intead. It seems like a lot but after playing for a little over a week, from level 1 to 33, I managed to make enough to pay for a month. And after hitting the cap it's pretty easy to make enough to buy even more time.
The only catch is that the price of a month can go down or up depending on your server's demand for the item (C.R.E.D.D.)
I spent $1210 on wolfenstein
umm what?
umm what?
probably bought a new PC just to play the game, or bought a new PC and then picked up the game when it was on sale
so what its like another EVE online where you can earn enough to pay it off?
when it comes to that payment method, yeah

You could always watch mine :v:

Granted it's too early to tell with Wildstar, I have no problem paying for a sub IF it's done properly. For properly done sub games, enough content exists/is released that I get more gametime/have more fun over the course of 4 months than I would have buying a new game.
[editline]30th June 2014[/editline]
If that requirement isn't met, I drop it.

iirc they have a good amount of new content finished and instead of doing a paid expansion pack they're releasing it as monthly content with new zones/dungeons/pvp stuff
it seems like a good idea imo, I'm thinking for dropping WoW since the time gaps between new content is too long so this method of releasing content sound much better

I meant if you were to do it enough, it would kill it (like any other thing)

Would probably take months of constant use before your average video camera would face problems...And then, it wouldn't even be the sensor.

probably
Steam sales suck when you have almost every game that is good from steam.
Yesterday the forecast for tonight was warm and clear.
I think they might be wrong.

Christ. That's coming for me soon
The local RIAA (who are still called "Phonogram and Videogram Producer Association" or something hilariously old-timey like that) pressured my gov't into blocking TPB's IPs/addresses today. RIP muh net neutrality.
It all happened surprisingly fast compared to literally anything else my government should be doing.
Fucking data caps. Just hit 75% on my 350GB, and it's exactly halfway through the billing period. I think I'm bumping the $10 a month to the 44mbps package so I can have a 400GB cap, but I don't want to give them any more money.
Try youtube-dl, it works for a whole bunch of sites.
After installing Python and then rtmpdump (which wasn't listed as a prerequisite because open source documentation is a bag of ass) I'm rewarded with....only the first three minutes of the stream being downloaded no matter how many times I try. ffs.
Edited: Oh I see. Dope spliced videos at 3:22 and youtube-dl chokes on that. Fucking useless open-source crap.
I've spent nothing on the steam sale, though I put a subwoofer in my car instead. It's a lot more fun than a shitty indie platformer that's going to sit unplayed in my Steam library.

I know Livestreamer can write a stream directly to file, not sure if you can make it work with a recorded stream.

Have they blocked Tor yet? If not, get downloading.

They haven't even blocked http://proxybay.info/ and P2P traffic is as fast as ever. It's just a scare, hopefully nerds in the capital will go burn some tires on a road and prevent this shit from escalating.

I only have two DVI ports KDE, what the hell are you even doing

Its times like these that make me glad I have an unlimited internet allowance. It would be hell trying to stop my family eating through it (And possibly even me).

i agree

:( I remember the first month they started putting caps, I found out via a large bill. Didn't even tell me.

It's 2014, the year of our Lord Snowden, and you don't have Tor on your machine?
I host a relay, and I make sure to have up-to-date copies of both TAILS and the Tor Browser Bundle.

They must've said 'Risk of national security' or something.
In other news, I have Windows 8.1 Pro therefore I'm no longer a non-Pro scrub.

Dat Hyper-V. I love that they included it in 8, if I really wanted to I could export a VM off my Server 2012R2 box and run it on my laptop or desktop.
Would you rather you paid £30 for it, and its an unstable pile of shit and/or malware?
I probably would of downloaded the demo, ripped the file and then uninstalled it. I already have an awesome application for Youtube.
