So to circumnavigate this cap, I'm considering approaching my cable provider from a small business aspect. I've got that I buy and sell computers/hardware, and work on systems via remote access. All of which are true. Anyone have any tips? Gunna try to make this work.

Only if I could muster a server correctly. I have one as a VM, but it's annoying that after searching the internet I cannot find out how the fuck to allow a computer outside the domain to authorize itself through the server.

Business class internet is infinitely more expensive than it's non-commercial counterpart. I have faster speeds and no cap at home than my old work did.

Depends on who you buy it from. You can get business-class stuff from Verizon here for not much more than a similar-speed home-class connection.

We've got a local isp here that I use, and it's the same way. I'd happily drop from 33mbps to 20mbps for a little extra money if it means no cap. Also I can choose exactly what mbps up and down from 1/1 to 105/105. If it's within budget I'll probably go 20/5

If that's idle temps that seems awfully high even for a laptop. I usually do a once-a-year fan cleaning and repasting and most of my laptops sit at around 45-50C with the fan hardly running if at all.
