This is my problem with MOBAs. I find the difficulty curve is too bloody steep.
I don't want to have to spend ages just to be competent at a game. I'd rather just play a game that's easy to learn and hard to master, rather than difficult to learn and a full time job to master.
I've been playing CoD recently on Wii U and the community has been excellent. I haven't heard a single racist/homophobic twelve year old screaming through the microphone.
I'm guessing it's because the Wii U doesn't come with a headset. (Thank you, Nintendo. Thank you.)
I manage to stumble into a lobby with a few people using mics
it had the usual xbox live gangster sounding dudes, but they were talking about Pikmin 3's bingo mode and how it needed to be online
it was pleasent
"Ayo real talk my nigga, you heard 'bout dat Hello Kitty Kruisers game? Shits gonna be bomb, word to me tho. I'm finna cop that at the midnight release, ya feel?"
Basically how I imagine Wii U "gangster sounding dudes" to talk...
They talked like your average "gangsters" on XBL, but talked about Pikmin 3 instead of talking trash to twelve year olds :v:
I find it really hard to get irritated with computers, where my dad has absolutely 0 patience when it starts screwing him around, I just don't get phased by it, I'll work through the problem.
I think I worded that bad, it's not so much that I have a problem with things not working. My stuff tends to just keep working without issue, and having a background in IT problems are easily fixed.
Rather it's that I think I'm starting to value different characteristics, if I bought a computer last year I'd research graphics cards, CPUs and ram all to get the best build possible. Now I think I just want to buy something and just plod along with it.
All I need is something to run minecraft on a Sunday afternoon and do my audio editing with ease, with plenty of CPU horsepower, excellent audio stack and an OS that just stays out the way. Almost tempted by a HP workstation or a dustbin shaped Mac Pro this time round.
I think I'm going from "enthusiast" to "informed consumer".
just because he's not using macros or hotkeys to activate abilities in for example WoW doesn't make him any less effective than anyone else.

i just got bored with killing stuff at level 83 so i left, it was just a big grind
lasted me for about 2 years, the furthest i've got on a character
i don't like raids or pvp so endgame is useless
No wonder you didn't run into any problems, you can autoattack mobs to death at that level.
In a raid, you'll be doing 25% of everyone else's damage, maximum, since you can't click quick enough and focus on not dying from environmental hazards.

not really, i had to focus a lot to get there
the entirety of outlands i mined ore to level up because i got tired of fetch quests
i'm really bad at games so yeah
activities that makes people depend on me are my worst enemy, i can't stand letting people down
So did you just like... Never do instances or anything... Or pvp?
This is literally blowing my mind right now...
So did you just like... Never do instances or anything... Or pvp?

i did some instances, but they didn't really appeal to me
warsong gulch was kinda fun with friends, but it got repetitive
the only thing i find fun about wow is exploring and finding sidequests
i probably had almost the whole of eastern kingdoms mapped out without even thinking about it
So you treated WoW like Skyrim basically...
So you treated WoW like Skyrim basically...
i like exploration and taking it in my own pace
in skyrim i didn't even get the second part of the fus-ro-dah thing, never did any main quest things
and even then i got about 80 hours out of it just exploring and helping people out
So did you just like... Never do instances or anything... Or pvp?

I played trough WoW (First one and BC) once without doing any Instance or Raid.
Motherboard= Yep Graphics card= hell yeah asus t100= yep.
THe asus routers are good though.
But i wont touch a gpu or motherboard from asus again for a long time.
My two year old Asus motherboard seems to be doing fine and so does my Asus GTX 760 which I bought last year.
Trying to tempt my Dad to get us an Asus RT-N66U as our router but he thinks that the ISP provided one we are getting for our fibre connection will be fine. :suicide: For fucks sake our current ISP one can't even sustain a connection for a single day, going to become much more common with more data usage.

For me i played instances but never raids, and then i only play PVP.
Rated Battlegrounds, Arena 2v2 3v3 5v5
I don't think there is any other mmorpg with such good pvp.
Welp, main computer still broken, but its so old that instead of fixing it I am just going to get a new one. The graphics card is still fine and I well re-use that, but the case is tiny, the processor, hard drives, and motherboard are all too old. It has also gone through like two power supplies.
Though in addition so this I also got a 32 inch HDTV mounted on an arm thing above my two monitors, it looks pretty awesome. Also power strips tied on the underside of a new desk, with a basket thing that I can use for much cleaner wire routes. It keeps the floor nice and clear.
The TOR Project is getting sued by someone in Texas for allowing access to, and allowing hosting of the website formerly known as Pinkmeth.com. It's an onion site now because nobody wants to actually host it.
Here's the official documents. https://www.scribd.com/fullscreen/233081133?access_key=key-WFujAqEI3BioFxNO43R3

It just keeps getting funnier. The lawyer representing pinkmeth just wrote an anti-revenge porn book/guide on how to get your naughty bits off the internet.

And on that website, he quoted the lawyer who would end up suing his client...

Because fuck your code.
Fucks sake, Waterfox now has the shitty new UI. now my canvas is slightly less than 1920x1080 so i can't view screens in a new tab with 1:1 anymore without zooming.

I can't use Mozilla Water/firefox due to it hanging often. Reinstalling didn't help, either.
So my boss turned untangle box back on and it blocks EVERYTHING. Including email clients, so we can't diagnose email issues. I don't know why he does this. If the employees of any place know how to easily circumnavigate it, it's a computer shop. The only thing it does is impede our productivity on client systems because I'm not putting a vpn on every damn system that comes in the shop.

Tell the clients to complain to your boss and threaten to go elsewhere
I think he'll realize the problem pretty quickly
Eh. Hopefully I'll be elsewhere soon. Finally finishing my A+ on Monday, and I've got 10 months of work experience now. Hopefully I'll find a job that pays more than 8.50 and hour

By GPU's i only gonna buy brands that do 1 gpu as in.
Nvidia = EVGA
AMD= Sapphire
To be fair they're direct CUII cards are okay, but seem to vary. Their 760's cooling relative to other brands seems sit in a way different place than their higher models with CUII
goddamnit garry

Lets use the same cooler that we used on the nvidia cards and put it on an amd card.
Which means that only 1 of 4 heatpipes is touching the dam gpu.
