You can port you BT/whatever landline number into a VoIP service fairly easily. A company like VoipFone handle the entire transfer for you.
I ditched my landline for VoipFone, the phone on my desk is a Panasonic SIP phone. Costs me a grand total of £2 a month!

The real kicker is most internet providers want/need a landline.

We've been with Comcast/NTL/Virgin since 2001 (Possibly earlier, we had Comcast analogue cable tv!). Despite the odd issue after virgin got their grubby mitts on the network there's a reason I haven't changed yet.

I've used it for 3 years, had nothing but bad problems with it. Along with everyone I know who uses it.

I just finished with rebuilding the machine into a new case, so now I've replaced the case, motherboard, CPU and GPU.
If I switch out all my storage, the PSU and RAM, I'll have none of the original parts in.

I'm literally unable to download anything for the past 2-3 days. If I try to, it will work for about 30 seconds and then my internet connection drops and then picks back up 30-45 seconds later and it repeats.

When you do a forgot password email they will ACTUALLY EMAIL YOU THE PLAINTEXT PASSWORD.

personally i just use 5 D12SH-12 yate loon fans from sidewinder computers clocked down to around 60-80%
