Sometimes I wish I had a social media for free shit.
thanks!
for yall lazy fucks, here's the Steam Link Filter Remover userscript:
http://puu.sh/a8Mny/44590a9325.js
[editline]12th July 2014[/editline]
(you need to import it on Tampermonkey to use it on chrome)
[editline]12th July 2014[/editline]
actually hold on, tampermonkey exported it wrong
[editline]12th July 2014[/editline]
there we go
Use this one instead.
Firefox: https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/steam-linkfilter-bypass/
Chrome: https://github.com/horsedrowner/BypassLinkfilter/tree/chrome-ver
For chrome you'll have to install it as an unpacked extension (Because I'm not paying $5 to put it on the fucking chrome store.)
The reason to use this one instead is instead of just waiting for the page to load and having the script click the button (which isn't how I'd do it anyway), this intercepts the page load before it's even loaded and redirects to the page you were going to anyway.
It means it works when Steam goes down and it's much faster.
Horsedrowner originally made the FF one and I remade it for Chrome.

no one is preventing you from making a fake one.
no one is preventing you from making a fake one.
True. But effort. That would mean doing something rather than refreshing the hardware and software page.

Review games.
Get Free Stuff.
And Christ. I'm finally taking the second exam for my A+ on Monday. I took the first 10 months ago, and got a job at a PC shop right before I scheduled the second. The answers they're looking for are so stupid.

How about review hardware? I'd like that more...

My merge.

OEMs only offer you free hardware if you're reputable

For a big reason. Keys are basically infinite and free. Hardware actually costs something to make and ship.
Yeah I know. Tis a pipe dream. Still. I don't like many games.
Logitech is pretty good about giving out hardware for review I hear. I sent them an email a few weeks ago asking to review their new mouse. Heard nothing yet though.
It would also have to be entirely text based. I haven't a camera. They get me in trouble.
I should get a USB 3.0 reader and a USB 3.0 ports on this desktop.. Bottleneck is the USB 2.0 at 20MB/s read..
Also, at work today someone brought in a system that they just use for basic home use. It was a Dell Precision with two dual core Xeons, Vista, and I quote, "1 gig of RAM so you know it's really fast"

I think when you are working for a company that makes dildo's for a living, you sorta lose the ability to give a shit.
Wifi was slow as balls so I reset my router, lo and behold, web pages don't hang on loading anymore.
[editline]13th July 2014[/editline]
I should probably invest in a nice router.

So much room for activities!

What amiga said, with media player of choice on the right if you don't have anything else that need space
Speaking of room, I will order a 1920x1080 panel to replace the 1366x768 one on my 13" laptop. It's gon be cash. Then I'll have full HD everywhere. Phone, laptop, desktop (which has a 1920x1200 as secondary).
Goodbye, 1366x768 cancer.
Using iTunes on Windows 7 makes me want to pull my hair out, it's so slow.
Does anyone here run all their monitor(?s) all in portrait?
I would at least have one in portrait if i had a monitor i could do it with. But for now it's landscape all the way
