link me your power bank
I got mine off eBay for around $25 with free shipping, there is kind of a high chance you will run into fake ones online tho. but here is a review http://www.gizmodo.com.au/2014/04/lightning-review-xiaomis-portable-battery-is-ridiculously-powerful/ other fp'ers with the legit version of this power bank that I know of: AmigaOS iCole
I have literally no work to do today, so I guess I'm installing Unity to work on my game and bill it as "educational." I mean, it kind of is. :v:
Restricting and painful I'm guessing :v:

...Uncomfortable.
For you two, maybe. Hnng love that XGA.

define full load because 85c in prime95 with a 4770k isn't that terrible
I made and snuck a little something onto my dad's Garmin before we headed off to Vegas for vacation.
How'd you do it? I have a Nuvi and some good ideas for it.
define full load because 85c in prime95 with a 4770k isn't that terrible
Wasn't Prime95ing, just rendering in Sony Vegas. All threads at 100%
New clues are discovered they await for you all air is important even the dead the darkness is your friend
I don't know man, how important can fart air possibly be?
After two years of reliable 24/7 4.5Ghz service, my i5-2500k is now starting to shit out on me after a restart after 10 days of uptime. Damnit.
You left a consumer grade CPU permanently on for 2 years?
my 2500k has been on since 2011, and i haven't even reinstalled no overclocking though doesn't pretty much everyone have their machines on 24/7?
my 2500k has been on since 2011, and i haven't even reinstalled no overclocking though doesn't pretty much everyone have their machines on 24/7?
nope
You left a consumer grade CPU permanently on for 2 years?
Well, I would usually power cycle it every few days, but generally it was on about 90% of the time. (728 days, according to SMART data) I wonder if I should just shoot for a lower voltage 4Ghz overclock or just sell it on eBay and get one of those 20th anniversary Pentiums.
You left a consumer grade CPU permanently on for 2 years?
Technically at stock clocks a consumer CPU should have no issue staying on nearly 24/7. I've had a Pentium II, 4 and AMD Athlon on for longer with absolutely no issues. Your other components will die long before the CPU does.
doesn't pretty much everyone have their machines on 24/7?
Nope, Such a colossal waste of electricity.
You left a consumer grade CPU permanently on for 2 years?
My computer has basically been on since 2010. edit: this machine since 2012, before that since 2011, before that since 2007. American electricity is cheap. Edit: And my machine on idle is quite efficient. Like as much as a lightbulb last time I checked.
Nope, Such a colossal waste of electricity.
meh, i've got free electricity
I'd like to and I did in the past. But I have no reason to leave it on anymore. I even uninstalled all of my VMs cause no one wanted Minecraft servers for any of my IRL friends so I closed them all and my PC is only on for 12 hours a day.
i only leave it on so i don't have to wait 10 minutes for it to boot up every time i get home
That and any time my system reboots or shuts down it's like a lottery if it will boot up without problems.
what's the benefit of not turning your computer off at night. especially if you sleep in the same room usually the lack of fan noise would be better than not having to spend 30 seconds starting up every morning or 5 seconds resuming from hibernate
Nope, Such a colossal waste of electricity.
that too [editline]14th July 2014[/editline] lol what kind of shit do you have that takes 10 minutes to boot
If you need it on for when you get home and for some reason your computer boots at a glacial pace, set up wake-on-lan or something. Many routers can trigger it. Failing that some BIOS implementations support wake-on-alarm.
SSD. 2 second boot flat
until 1tb ssd's go down in price, i'm gonna stay with my raid 1
that too [editline]14th July 2014[/editline] lol what kind of shit do you have that takes 10 minutes to boot
it's a workhorse
If you need it on for when you get home and for some reason your computer boots at a glacial pace, set up wake-on-lan or something. I don't know if this is the place to post this but I bought a PS2. My desk was covered in wires getting it set up properly. And I softmodded it. Sorry for the blurry pictures (It's blurry in the first place :v: ) All wired up perfectly. The adapter I use outputs 3.5mm and I plugged it into Line In on my computer, merging my computer's audio with the PS2. I can play and be on skype or something at the same time with my headphones.
Pretty much the same setup I have with my ps2.
Is there anything out there that'd let me connect my PS2 via HDMI (possibly with audio but that's not necessary).
You recommended me to get that adapter, if I remember correctly. :v: [editline]14th July 2014[/editline] Yeah, it was you.

I've owned a fat PS2 since like 2004. I prefer to have it hooked to a small CRT, though - looks nicer when the physical resolution is lower. [editline]15th July 2014[/editline] Though the CRT TV in question has a weird issue where I have to violently bend the circuitboard via the SCART connector to get the colours to show correctly. No obvious broken connections on the board, either.
