How much approximately does it cost for a cheap overclockable Mini-ITX Haswell board these days, anyway? I'm planning to sidegrade to a Pentium G3258 after selling the 2500k off but from I looked, Z97 chipsets were rather expensive.
Where the hell do you even find 4:3 displays?
The only 4:3 computer monitors I've seen are 1024x768 or 800x600.
1280x1024 is 5:4
I have a 1600x1200 4:3 display.
This and a crap ass 1024x768 are the only monitors I own.

You can use some Z87 mobos, as it isn't any different electrically than regular pentiums, intel basically just turned overclocking on.
May need a BIOS update

Anker Astro 3E here. I love it.
It's kind of hard to find a cheap socket 1156-motherboard, it would seem
i just found out about this

Fucking around with the PS2 is more advanced than I thought it would be.
Just wanting to load files to the PS2 HDD and that's a pain in the ass, I've been trying to figure this shit out for like 3 hours.

That's bullshit, though.
I mean, the trademark dilution one could be valid - but only if this guy had started using the name after the bigger company.

Good to see people still use that instead of that weird goddamn all-in-one solution people have been pushing.
Related, I mangled my garbage PC case to fit a removable IDE HDD bay in it. I /hate/ cases with "doors" in front of drives, and I should really just buy a new one :v:
[t]http://i.imgur.com/kRV82Ak.jpg[/t]
And after all that work, the damn thing won't recognize my dying PS2 HDD. Time to find a bigger one, I guess.
This comes up every other day but whats a good budget router. We've been using a Wifi Gateway and it sucks.

I like my ASUS RTN12. It's 40 bucks and does the job for an apartment. It's nothing out of the ordinary but it works well and is cheap

What all-in-one solution?
I'm partial to anker Astro3

Hm, 2 usb ports is pretty useful, especially for powering 2 devices at the same time like 2 gopros

Open PS2 Loader. I messed with it for a bit and found it too bloated and slow compared to HDLoader
I tried to mod my PS2 for loading off HDD.
Then stuff got moved around and I lost the screws to it.
Speaking of which who wants to buy a working PS2 without the screws? :v:
Open PS2 Loader. I messed with it for a bit and found it too bloated and slow compared to HDLoader
Yeah but the compatibility is WAY better with OPL.
Would getting another external hard drive be better for archiving about 700GB of footage and some that stuff?
So after my i5-2500k reached its end at 4.5Ghz @ 1.37V I tried dialing it back 100Mhz and it's happy and stable a full .1V below.
Yeah, okay computer.

If you have a machine with IDE and you can save ISO's to that PC, use WinHIIP, as its tons faster. If I'm doing a bulk amount of games, I just use that.
Update your uLE to something not so terrible.

shit would be so cash
God damn it, I have a PS2 slim but I can't softmod it.
I had an Action Replay thing for it, but it was a newer version where they removed the ability to just launch ELFs, so it was useless.
you can get one of those memory cards with it preinstalled if you wanted to
or better yet if you have one of these (or are willing to get one), you can add me on steam and I'll walk you through getting shit going

judging by your avatar you'd probably already know what to do though
I think also 007 Agent Under Fire can be used for disc swapping to load uLE

I think Nightfire is the same engine and everything, so you could use that if you knew which mission was the first driving mission.

I personally used NFS: Underground 2. I swapped the online config ELF with uLE. It requires the network adapter to work but that isn't an obstacle if you have the slim.

They're dirt cheap on any website that sells used products

In my situation, I was just very fortunate to have all the stuff I needed just lying around...
