If it's dead for real, get a Rosewill RK9000.
Only improvement that could be made to this keyboard would be to remove the numpad.

I really don't see why anyone would use a 104-key keyboard but apparently some people do.
Main reason I'm asking is that I could get the 104-key one for like $60 USD - but the Nordic version costs over 90 euros.

God fucking dammit. At least it [B]is[/B] the 105-key one so that it makes sense to get the Nordic version.
I guess I could throw 95€ at it, that's not that much for a mechanical keyboard, but [I]still[/I].
I should probably get a new keyboard. My current one is just a "eh, as long as it registers keystrokes" $10 thing that has worked admirably but it's a bit mushy.
Even with its mushiness though, I can still tack out 100WPM on it with higher accuracy than the old Sidewinder X4 so it doesn't really seem like the thing to spend $70 on.
I suppose one could get mechanical keyboards to see how they work, but what's the point of simply getting something to raise your standards?

I bought [URL="http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16826988018"]this[/URL] and it's pretty great. Although $40 is just a bit above average for a name-brand mouse [I]mat[/I]. (Assuming by mat it's a whole desk thing to go under both keyboard and mouse with room to spare)
I usually get these big 3x1' mousepads to cover my whole work area. Which reminds me, I need to buy a new one.

I use one because my desk surface is solid glass, and my desktop mouse doesn't track at all on it.
Ironically, that mousepad is the ONE SURFACE I HAVE FOUND that my laptop mouse will NOT track on. It works just fine on glass, carpet, my beard, you name it, but that mousepad just wrecks its tracking.
