I have a cheap mouse pad that I actually use to place my phone on. My computer table is the one with a slide out keyboard and mouse platform so I place the mouse pad and my phone on the upper part of the table where the monitor sits. That mouse pad doesn't stick on the table which is why I would buy a large mat that I can place my entire keyboard and other stuff on so it won't move much.

at this point i am so conditioned to flipping my phone out to check the time that if I wear a regular watch I still do it out of habit
I've yet to see any of the new smart watches on person and actually use them.

My bet is that like everything else they've tried, some pissing contest will develop between some ideology or another, and everything will get abandoned in relatively short order.

It will end up in an argument over what GUI Toolkit and language to use. The design will result in a shitfest and it will be rewritten 3 times and no finished product will ever be released.

Do you have Virtualbox, Vmware Workstation/Player or OpenVPN installed?
Those and other software create network adapters.
