Soooo... /g/ is making their own torrent client. You can watch them chat about the development and such on #gtorrent on rizon. It's going to be FOSS and completely cross platform as well.
it's probably going to be less shit than uTorrent on Android
It crashes my phone
watching /g/'s torrent program evolve is like watching politics. No progress at all.
/g/ has been arguing for days over which icon it should use.

Doesn't matter, Internet Explorer will still suck
I left Defraggler on and checked "Shut down after defrag" and 12 hours later my computer is still idle with this:

I used to have that same rsclient.exe
It has a handy autoclicker in it :v:
Ahhh why does my desktop have to have fucking problems already? Jesus Christ is it showing jealousy or some shit because I've been on this little thing for a while now.
Oh well I gotta bring out the big guns to reset the bloody password.
EDIT: Nope Windows is being a fucking turd and isn't letting me Repair Your Computer. I have 64 Bit Windows 7 Ultimate, and it says its not the right version yet I have the 64bit shit inside the FUCKING DRIVE.

I never did any VPN shit. Is Teamviewer to blame?
If I ever get the idea of trying to fix a console again in the future, just shoot me.
Disassembled a fat PS3 that my brother gave to me, it apparently broke at one point.
Just took it apart, need to inspect it properly, see if I can figure out the fault.
Brother suspected thermal problems (console would at least boot up for a split-second and then start crying and not working), and looking at the amount of thermal paste that was on the CPU and GPU, it looks like it had gone through some "console optimization", like GTA5's graphics.

If the disk drive starts giving you shit, just throw it out and buy a new drive
That thing is more complicated than a swiss wristwatch
There's a lot of tut's for dissembling a fat PS3. I've done mine twice now no problem, second time I fixed it's YLOD. Still going strong.
[editline]16th July 2014[/editline]
Just gotta be careful with the ribbon cables and remembering where the screws go.
I was following the iFixit disassembly guide, it's pretty good.
It seems to be for an older version of the PS3 though. I'm guessing the PS3 my brother gave me is a fat model with no PS2 hardware, because there's 3 large chips on the iFixit guide (Cell Broadband Engine, RSX Reality Synthesizer and something else), whilst the one I have on hand only has the CPU and GPU (CBE&RSX).
But it's close enough.
A friend of my brothers bought his PS3 back to life, apparently it was some soldering issues that needed fixing. I don't see why he did it in retrospect, he's more interested in the PC these days.

Now that remarrying drives is possible even the "dud drive" fats are still worth money. Holy shit the GS chip equipped PS3's are still expensive.
Anybody know where I get the Wifi Drivers for a Toshiba Satellite L300-0G1 (Model No. PSLB8C-0G1019)
Been looking for an hour now.
OH shit. The original Demonoid site is back up as a cloud site? What the hell?
Edited: Holy shit, the tracker is alive! It's legit kids! Demonoid is back!
nevermind it just started working

It's our sacred duty to repair electronics, and then liberate them.
If I get this PS3 running, I'm fairly sure that the firmware is super-old, will have to look into the jailbreak stuff that happened before I even think about connecting it to the Internet. I could really go for some OtherOS action, I've never had a PowerPC-based machine before.
For fucks sake.
So while I was preparing to restart my linux distro seeding I tried to log into the server and it kept failing.
Okay, I guess it's locked up again? What about pinging it?
Nope. It's not responding to pings either. Is the network cable bad?
Nope. Cable is good and the switch sees it. Okay so, what the fuck? Time to pull out the keyboard and LCD panel.
Okay, so three weeks ago we had a power failure and the server powered down. When I got the chance I pressed the power button and left it alone. SyncBack never reported errors so I assumed all was healthy.
No. For the past three weeks the server has been sitting at a BIOS screen telling me that the keyboard wasn't plugged in. It hadn't even gotten the chance to boot. SyncBack meanwhile has been silently logging errors and not bothering to tell me that shit was hitting the fan.
Three beeps and a blinking red light, woop.
At least it's the same error as before I took the damn thing apart.
Replaced the hard drive and tried with that, because according to Google, it often happens with hard drive problems. Didn't work.
Sigh. Fuck this.
Wtf is going on in fast threads lol

Oh, all the NSFW stuff. Porn dumps got banned, all related threads were removed, got unbanned, people are making up for lost time.
I just realized the adapter is for Displayport not MiniDP and an DP to MiniDP adapter would cost as much or more as the one I ordered
I feel like Google controls my life.
I was browsing shit on Chrome on my downtime before class and got a Google Now automatic notification on my Android phone with the usual notification bing telling me that it was going to take 26 minutes to go to "work" (class) today, which is the first time that's happened automatically (IT KNOWS).
So I click on the notification and head into my car, open Drive music and choose an alternate route on Maps with less traffic so my mpg isn't kill, and it heads me and a pack of about 5 other rather unaware cars following the same directions through a very obscure residential area to avoid traffic because an accident happened and Google Navigation automatically redirected this small pack of cars.
Now that I'm here I just check my Gmail with Chrome and dick around on YouTube until class starts.

Does anyone know if Symantec Ghost 11.5 supports uEFI at all
I've NEVER used this before (I've only ever just been lazy and used a Linux LiveUSB + dd :v:) and I don't know shit about it
I'm trying to deploy a Windows 7 x64 image to a machine that has uEFI but it leaves it unbootable. A Windows recovery disc will see a Windows install but bootrec won't see it. So...It leads me to believe Ghost is eating the EFI partition somehow.
