They (the man) would probably get a hold of all my information anyway, might as well let the data collection also benefit me

I like how the MX518 is just something Logitech just got so right in design (except for the cord strain design flaw) that they really haven't bothered to change it at all since its release about 8 years ago. There's really little to complain about.

If they made a "reduced budget" one with less buttons and a cheaper optic set, I would totally buy extras for non-gaming use. Its just soooooo comfortable.
UEFI is such a good idea on paper but why do all the implementations fucking suck terribly, god damn. This HP machine is the devil. It seems to randomly decide when it wants to boot something in Legacy boot or EFI boot mode everytime I turn it on...
I'm tempted to try going full Stallman mode but I doubt I could put up with it.
I switched from Google to Startpage on my tablet and laptop. Also installed Blender in Firefox, which is faking my user-agent data, plus some other data. And some other stuff. Been thinking about either removing the WiFi adapter whitelist from my laptop's BIOS somehow, or just using a USB WiFi adapter, so I could use one that doesn't require non-free firmware to function.

Chrome is now reportedly blocking legitimate µTorrent downloads as malicious. http://torrentfreak.com/chrome-blocks-utorrent-as-malicious-and-harmful-software-140716/ Technically, they're right, what with the tech-terrorist organization MPAA controlling BitTorrent Inc., which in turn owns µTorrent. This would be a good time to move to a non-shit client if you're still using µTorrent, even if you're using an old version. Qbittorrent and Transmission are both good choices that I use, I've heard people also recommend Deluge.
I've been using that client on Android It crashes my phone when I seed.

It goes into a loop repeatedly checking the same 1000-1500 torrents again and again, never updating any other trackers. The only true master race client is rtorrent. Nothing else can handle tens of thousands of torrents at 500Mb/s speeds while using almost no resources. Unfortunately it's a nightmare to get it working on windows, and the gui frontends are mostly web based, which all works wonderfully if you have a VPS, but is an absolute pain in the dick for enthusiast desktop use, let alone your average user. You can use 2.2.1 on windows forever, or if you want a couple of the nicer convenience features, go to an earlier 3 something build and disable the advertisements and obnoxious boxes.
realistically how many people using uTorrent are going to be seeding 1-1.5k torrents
Well I found out after a long conversation that shes been talking with her ex of two years (who said that she still loved her and they've been talking ever since two months after they broke up I think), and hes been calling her once a week even while we've been together. They've known each other since they were 9 and they're committed to each other for the long run Honestly fuck this world
no offense meant to you or anything but she sounds like a bit of a prick for that
no offense meant to you or anything but she sounds like a bit of a prick for that
Yep I had no idea I'm honestly crushed right now
it's one thing to pretend you love someone for a while, but 2 years? i feel bad for you. i hope things come around
That is a niche problem I'll admit. utorrent is still by far the most efficient out of the box client for windows. I'd kill for rtorrents level of power with a well designed GUI thrown on top of it. Thing's like folder organization of torrents, setting group properties (IE torrents in this group cannot exceed a total of x% of my allocated bandwidth and have total bandwidth quota of 25GB per month, but any individual torrent in the group can take some or all of that up), and other things. You can do things like that with rtorrent, but your configs become monolithic, and the easiest way to do some of the group management is to just run multiple sessions. There's so many nifty power features that are very poorly explained, and practically never used, but which can significantly shape how your client uses it's allocated bandwidth. If his side of the story is even tangentially close to accurate, he's better off having nothing to do with her under any circumstance ever again.

Yeah after talking with her about it and her being 100% open finally I feel a lot better about it. It still sucks obviously but it wasn't really going to last much longer with me being in college and her moving around constantly for dancing jobs. It just ended earlier than I thought
A good one for Android is also hard to find..

still pretty cool tho
Why would I ever want to interact with a screen that small If I want to text somebody back I'll just get my phone out of my pocket, which is why I think LCD smart watches are kind of silly [editline]17th July 2014[/editline] Something like a pebble on the other hand seems like something I would actually use It's a quick way to basically glance at your phone without actually taking it out

Fucking brother Go to photocopy something, takes 5 minutes setting up before it realises "Oh I'm out of paper" Stick new paper into the weird cartridge shit it has and start again Pulls the paper through, starts making annoying noises, "Paper Jam: Rear", fuck Open it up, nothing, close door, printer flawlessly spits out the paper and cancels the job entirely Repeat this another two times until it finally decides not to be a shitlord and actually starts printing
I'm tempted to try going full Stallman mode but I doubt I could put up with it.
Apart from Google search (I'm replacing it with DDG and SP), I use nothing else from google. I want to break free fom the Google botnet.
Server hasn't been responding to any requests and it's been 5 hours while the homeip page still remains the same. Whats weird is that I did call my dad about rebooting it for me and even call up the login screen to confirm that it is functioning. [editline]17th July 2014[/editline] But I have been spending time in BeamNG.Drive. Do processors and motherboards ever have varying levels of compatibility? And does this compatibility ever effect their performance to a large degree? This is regardless of socket.
Typing in morse code would be easier than that weird keyboard... thing.
some keyboard implementations actually work quite good, i got pretty fluid with this one for example:
